NASCAR driver assaulted at Indy store

NASCAR Busch Series driver Steve Wallace was the victim of an attempted mugging Sunday night at an Indianapolis convenience store.

I know several people that have a license to carry a weapon. I am all for "removing" these criminal thugs from the streets of our fine city. Just a watch... nope, this is serious. They get away with it 1 time, that is one too many. If you carry, these people will not have a choice to jump you and take your watch because their inability to get up from their own pool of blood. Sick you say... not so much. I have more respect for the average animal than I do for people like this. Worthless trash individuals that commit heartless crimes like this need to be dealt with. They don't respect the system so putting them through the system is a waste and their criminal behavior only escalates. They need to be eliminated, sooner than later.

Mayor Peterson, this is getting ridiculous. Its embarrassing. What seemed like a perfectly safe city a couple years ago already has the opposite reputation within its borders, and that rep is going to spread if we don't stem the tide.

Seriously, I'm getting tired of Corporate America ruining my sport. You had a story on Friday about NASCAR's popularity and quoted a guy who wrote a book, "The 200 MPH Billboard." I got it on Amazon. It's a great book. The guy writes for The Wall Street Journal. But what it says about NASCAR and where it's headed is scary. What happened to my SPORT!!!????
