i do remember zayres, eastgate murphys was the best, the movie theater at eastgate was good, even after i moved west i still hopped on a bus with my new friends and went to eastgate movies then it was safe, like 12 year olds on the bus now would get the cops called

I never rode the bus, unless it was with my grandmother. We would get on at LaSalle and Washington and go downtown. When Tom Wood Pontiac was on the corner there, I used to play in the parking lot and run around in the service dept. Lol! OSHA would have cow now!
