Attack the basket and look to dish it to Ellis or DJ. When DJ starts slamming down a couple then the 3 pointers be wide open. It is so simple but works everytime.

Crawford isnt there yet with his maturity to play "pass-first" pointguard. That is fine, though, to be honest because we are going to need him to be the scorer he wants to be next year anyway. I think that is why you dont see Sampson telling him to pass it more often. Bassett is a pass first pointguard.

If Gordon would adopt more of a drive and kick mentality then he would be a much more complete player. He starts to get it in the second halves of games, but in the first half he seems like he focuses on himself getting to the basket or hitting threes. He should be agressive, but he needs to be much smarter with his decision making and much stronger when he goes to the rim. He needs to understand that there are many talented players on this team for us to be as successful as we can be.

AJ......well......sorry Ratliff, but you arent seeing much court time sitting behind Jamarcus and that is fine with me. Ellis' game is much more advanced than AJ's and he is just a much better player in every aspect. AJ did have the defensive skills on his side, but he hasnt gotten that back yet as evidenced by his now TWO instances of fouling a 3pt shooter.

I'm pretty sure the guys get their coaching tips from a know-it-all couch potato who posts messages like this. Please!!! Leave it to the people who know what they are talking about.

When Bobby was here we didn't have the NCAA breathing down our backs with a boat load of recruiting violations. Believe me the current silence means some very dark days in the future for Indiana basketball, once they come back with their sanctions........
Bobby, Bobby, Bobby!!!
How long has it been now? Think maybe its time to admit to yourself that he's gone and move on?

I agree IU has a good squad, but #7? They currently have the #163 rated strength of schedule. That is the worse SOS in the Big Ten and the worse of the top 40 rated teams in the country. There is no real measuring stick. The only team they played that is currently in the Top 25 beat them by 15 points.

The great part of this...the games still get played!!
Ranked first or last...undefeated or not a win...little school or Big 10...you still play the game.
And when you play the game, anything can happen!
Hey IU, keep you heads on straight and just keep PLAYIN!!
I hope to see you in the Final Four

It is now 233rd according to Saragin in USA Today and is still the worse in the Big Ten.

Please dont start this garbage. Please. You dont know anymore than any of the rest of us, so dont say "believe me". No one believes you because you know zero. This year is safe and I base that off of past history. Who knows about the future, but I still couldnt imagine anything more than a monetary fine and maybe another scholy lost. This just isnt in the class of taking money from boosters or anything that would give a program a clear advantage in any area.

About Bobby.....Ive said it before......Bobby had more people laughing at IU nationally than Sampson ever could. This 3-way call crap has gone away as evidenced by the fact they never bring it up during games at all anymore, but Bobby never could act like a normal person and that was an everyday occurrence. People wanted to see Bobby flip out more than they wanted to see IU win. It was a joke. I am glad Texas Tech has to deal with that now.

They have a rough February comming. I see losses to either Iowa or UConn, at Wisconsin and/or at Illinios, Wisconsin and/or Michigan St. at home, Purdue (yes, I said it), Purdue at home, at Michigan State and Minnesota at home. IU finishes 4th in the Big 10 behind Wisconsin, Michigan St. and Purdue.

Hoosiers are looking good but not yet consistent enough on defence to be a final 4 contender. IU needs to cut back on the turnovers as well. DJ White has impressed me the most with his leadership and agressive rebounding.
Looking forward to the UCONN game as well as the Michigan State match up.

GO HOOSIERS!!

I don't see any Loosier fans addressing this.:-) How they could be proud of a ranking they clearly don't deserve is quite the mystery.

"Eric Gordon and Co.", good grief. I guess in Gloomington, one person a team doth make.

Same exact thing can be said for North Carolina. No one they have played is currently ranked in the top 25, but they got beat by an UNRANKED team. So they arent a top 10 team either? You would have to say yes based on your logic, but that would be rediculous. IU played the same teams out of conference we always play. Last year we had a good SOS, this year those teams arent as good. Its like people just want to you to scrap that 2, 3, 4 year contract you signed to play these teams and pick other better teams. Doesnt work that way folks. You play the teams that you are contracted to play during the years you are contracted to play them. Obviously "the experts" know this is a good team with a lot of talent or they wouldnt be in the top 10.

IU is a much better team when they set it up on offense, I see very little movement without the ball and very little screening,,With the talent this team has it is a shame that they continue to rely so much on Gordon. The team that can put a good player and good defense on Gordon wins..Unless IU starts playing as a team, come tournament time they'll be just an average team
