Could this be the same killer as that of Jane Pepper, who was also stabbed to death in her apartment on 10/25/07?

Sure would be nice if the news told you it was forced entry or she possibly knew the suspect. Was it an apartment or house in an addition? I guess they expect us to look at map quest. Was she raped or just stabbed. Was her home in shambles and stuff taken? A little more info would be nice. Thanks and Merry Christmas to all! Biskit

I think the news said near Main St. Althought that doesn't really tell you much. They also said they were looking for her husband, James "JD".

Sorry, I got the name wrong. Here it is:

"Police want to question her husband, 32-year-old Johnny Dale Barker, who might also go by "J-D." Investigators say he's a white male, six feet tall and weighs about 220 pounds. Barker has blue eyes and brown hair. He is driving a 1999 blue Ford F-150 truck with license 465492A.
If you see Barker, call 911."

I have heard of these new apartments, if they are the ones that I have been hearing are very expensive but also section 8 and the police are often out there. Don't move there if you can help it!

Just wanted to say that Jamie and JD were not the type of people who you have expceted to end up in this type of situation. Our click of friends and family are very shocked with what has transpired.

I was just thinking of Jane Pepper and how no further information has been released on her case.
Johnson Co almost made it a full year with no homocides, I'm moving!

I live on Balmoral Way, a few apartments down from where this happened. Things are getting back to normal, Saturday they had the section in front of her apartment taped off in yellow tape. They have since just put tape on her apartment door. Police were their until about midnight Saturday night.

You couldn't afford to live here BooBoo!! We are not a section 8 project and you are just ignorant! Uninformed for sure you can't help your close minded.

This community is just as shocked as you. This tragedy would have happened no matter the address...this man would have killed her wherever she was. We are all sad here!! Sad for her family and friends and the loss this world will suffer with out her here.

They likely don't want to give too much info. They do that so if a suspect says something that wasn't announced to the public, they know they are on to something.

Well if it happened in the apartment then chances are you won't be able to find it on map quest for the simple fact that the apartment complex is still fairly new...our address doesn't even show up yet...and we been here almost a year...doesn't matter though, we're moving here soon! But yeah chances are they won't give out much info...
