Well, the drunkard and his F.O.P. lawyer have found a sympathetic ear in Judge Grant Hawkins. I believe Judge Grant Hawkins was recently in trouble for increasing fines for ordinary folks when they sought a jury trial or if they challenged their misdemeanor tickets. Again, another set of laws for the ordinary, whilst connected criminals whom commit the most egregious acts are given every opportunity under the law.
Anyone else angry over being held by ransom by Judge Hawkins? Meaning, for now,he won't rule until the publicity surrounding Bisard's crimes cools down to the satisfaction of the criminals attorney and his honor. The judge has stated if the trial were today,he'd vote for change of venue. Is that a code word ($$$) to the attorney? It's bad enough we have a corrupt metro police department and now we have an entire city being held hostage to the whims of a judge whose integrity -in my opinion- is questionable.
The demotions have been a joke. They'll probably be promoted again within the next 18 months and laughing their way to their pensions. The whole thing stinks. And beyond limiting the mayor to one term (which will happen by the voters)the voters and citizens within Marion County can't do a thing about this miscarriage of justice. 2 people extremely injured, and one dead. What a farce.

This situation has become more sickening by the mintute. Yes yes yes!....lets wait until the public forgets all about this tragedy. Maybe by next year he will be less innocent!! WTF! This is an absolute freaking joke! Instead of wasting everyones time why dont they just let this guy off the hook and put him back on the job. This is obviously what the city, judge, police dept, lawyers and who the "F" else ever wants! The Wells family? Oh...they will be ok....here...lets just give them a check and say we are sorry.
This is absolutey the purist form of stupidy there is. This has been an abortion from the minute the other F**KING cops that showed up on the scene covered up knowing that this guy had been drinking!!!!!! WTF!!!! They had to know and I dont give a F**K what they say.
To Bisard and the rest of the douche bag lawyers and so called judge in Indianapolis...go F**K yourself!
oh come on

agreed. I'm sick of regular joe's, innocent OR NOT, bein run thru the ringer over some cops accusations (true OR NOT)... but this "all in who you know or how much $$$ you got" garbage, happens more than one would like to think.
Seemingly unbeknownst to the powers that be, this Bisard case is not the beginning....it is the frickin' icing on the cake. the cherry. the LAST STRAW.

on the reality show the real housewives of new jersey, danielle straub has been fired and i think maybe the mayor, who is standing by the man straub should throw a cocktail party for anyone named in
this fracas and travesty going on in indianapolis.might as well use taxpayer maney for the event.what is a bit more for a cover charge? it could be a catered affair. maybe harvey davvisen would throw in a motorcycle for the lucky winner. and then on to more idiocy rules manuevers by those involved.

There's no need to delay or move the trial. Bisard and his lawyer are going to go for a bench trial. There will be no jurors from the public.

LET HIM GO FREE!!
Oh yes. I guess since he is such a GREAT policeman then it makes it ok to get drunk while ON DUTY and kill people. What were we thinking....he's a cop. How could we possibly punish him for an act of stupidity?
Douche bags are everywhere in this country but I have to say that this idiot Bisard ranks Indy pretty high on the list.
By next year or whenever this joke of a trial will happen the people will forget all about this jerk off and he will get a slap on the wrist. Probably even keep some sort of job with the city since he is such a GREAT policeman. I keep forgetting that.
Mayor Ballard!!! Have you made certain that the citizens of Indianapolis have regained trust in the IMPD? Seems like your really working hard at it...being that Bisard is still employed and all. Just saying!
If this would have happened to the son of an important political person it would have been in every paper in the WORLD!!! When is everyone going to understand that if you are a cop, a politician, a fireman, a mayor, a councilman, a senator or what the F**K EVERY YOU CAN GET AWAY WITH WHAT EVER YOU WANT!!!!!!!!!! WHAT THE F**K IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE? ABOVE THE LAW!!!!
Fight against them? Really? See where that gets you.

Yep! No more news about this jerk off cop that got away with murder. Oh sure there will be a trial but it will only happen long long after everyone has forgotten all about it except for the Well's family. Then to make matters worse the Well's family will have to go through years and years of fighting for justice which will be halted by attorneys for the city and "Douch Bag of the Year" Bisard.

Hey but Indianapolis residents should feel much safer and at ease since cops are no longer allowed to buy alchohol while in uniform. That should put a stop to it no doubt! What kind of cops do you think the ones are that covered this whole s**t storm up are? Oh wait...they are cops...they get away with whatever the f**k they want to.

Oh yeah...how many wrecks has this "Douch Bag of the Year" Bisard been in again????

What a joke.

I was right. Those demotions were only temporary. Now we know they've been recently promoted.
