Good morning to all in Indy.
I miss home :(
I enjoy reading everyone's post but don't get involved since I'm on California time. But I do read every evening. You guys are addictive.
One question though what happened to Edwin?

I bust my a** everyday at work for 11 an hour.(I am 18years old.) I wish I was black so I could just get welfare and food stamps to pay my way, and I would get to park in the handicapped spot at the mall so I could get to the overpriced shoes and clothes even faster. Also, any problems I faced could be easily blamed on the white man.
(I apologize to the few hardworking African-Americans out there who work for a living and manage their money.)
Also, I have lived on the near-eastside of Indianapolis my whole life around almost all blacks, so you can not say this is ignorant or call me a redneck.
I cannot call you ignorant or a redneck? Really? And what's to stop me and every one else from saying so?
Sounds like you still got dues to pay when it comes to thinking out loud in public.

Let's say we all pay our property taxes in pennies.
The resulting penny shortage would bring American civiliation to it's knees.

Why can't the PEOPLE who elected Bart request his impeachment? Why do they have to wait for some (incompetent, biased) political machine to do it? This would send a very strong message to the politicians.

My wife is one of 3 women who run the office of a small construction company. Her boss is on vacation so it is just her and a temp. She called me at luch yesterday and told me that one of the foreman collapsed and died on a job site yestereday. When she got home she told me that later in the afternoon the family came in and asked to get life insurance started. She called the life insurance company only to find out that the companies policy had been cancelled on May first due to lack of payment. This is going to get really ugly!
My wife is activly looking for a new job. Anyone have an opening in their accounting department?
Have her check out Temp agencies. A lot of companies only hire via them. I got an Office Manager Job thru a temp service. Worked as a temp for about 2 months then hired full time.

Why is it that some ex-wives think that just because they gave birth, the father should pay them to live the life they were accustom to during the marriage? We have split custody of kids (equal amount of time in both homes). Why does she think she needs child support? We buy the clothes, pay the medical expenses, take time off work to take them to the doctor - while she is a glorified babysitter for 6 months of the year, works a full time job and always manages to look like she just walked out of a salon while the kids look like they haven't even brushed their hair all week!

Sorry - just wanted to let that out!

Job Security for Politicians ... they can do whatever the heck they want, and you can't fire them. Heck, you will be lucky to get him voted out!

Yeah, you don't think about it too much until it's someone you know and you see how much the loss hurts. I know Mrs Fritche personally and I know how much she has already suffered because of the loss of her husband. I cannot even begin to fathom the pain she is in now that her son has been killed. I don't pretend to know what the answer to the whole middle east situation is, but what we're doing doesn't seem to be working. I wish we could just bring our troops home. So much has already been lost......

As long as they have that internet thing in Texas, Chris L. will still be able to communicate with Indy. Relax.
