Checking Carl Brizzi's Dirty Briefs!

Every time the press looks, Carl Brizzi has another skidmark on his dirty briefs. Carl, do you have a guilty conscience about your graft and corruption?
What about the Page company?
Add a little bleach to the wash. Confess and free your soul! Then the Brizzi Briefs will be snow white.

In 1993, Carl Brizzi wanted to volunteer for a Republican political campaign. He called Scott Newman, who was running for Marion County prosecutor at the time, and offered to help, even though the two had never met.
Newman thought Brizzi was kidding, even wondered if Brizzi was some sort of spy for the Democrats, since he was then a lawyer for the state public defenders' office, where mostly Democrats were working. But Brizzi and Newman became fast friends, and Brizzi worked nightly to get Newman, the underdog, elected. Toward the end of the campaign, Brizzi made an offhand remark: "Maybe someday I'll run for prosecutor."
Nearly a decade later, Brizzi was indeed elected prosecutor himself....

"There’s a story about a guy who works on a sheep ranch. That day his wife tells him they have a dinner party to attend that evening, but he has to work later than usual, so he takes his suit with him. After spending the day working, the man gathers the sheep in the barn. He then takes off his clothes to jump in the shower and change. While he’s in mid-change, the farmer walks in and sees him naked in a barn full of sheep. You can imagine the image.
I bring this up in light of the FBI raid of the downtown offices of local businessman Tim Durham. Durham, who is known for what we call in the old neighborhood,“a big pimpin’ lifestyle” is being questioned by authorities regarding the sale of investment certificates.
What makes this broader story is that Durham has given money to Democrats and Republicans and is good friends with Marion County Prosecutor Carl Brizzi.(In the interest full disclosure, Brizzi and I are good friends as well). So now the political brouhaha can begin, Democrats can call for Republicans to give back any money they may have received and the GOP can spend time crafting a response.
At the end of the day, unless someone goes to jail, the political fallout will be minimum. I say that because most regular people couldn’t tell Tim Durham from Bull Durham. However if Durham ends up on tape somewhere doing the perp walk things change, because although elected officials or candidates had nothing to do with his business dealings, it won’t matter what it is, just what it looks like." FROM ABDUL
In order for the above analogy to work, one would have to add that the worker just wanted a little quickie. When the farmer walked in, the worker had twigs of hay in his hair and on his body like he just had a roll in the hay. There would be fresh skid marks on Brizzi's underwear in the back and a moistness in the front.
Brizzi got caught with his pants down after doing the deed.

Someone told me that in one Brizzi Brief that he proposed to change the name of the GOP, Government of [and for] the People to:
Gang of Perverts
Group of Playmates
Group of Penthouse Pets
Grand Old Pervert
I think his friendship with Jack Cottey has went to his two heads.

Once Carl Brizzi was real sick,so he went to the doctor. The doctor ran some tests and sent him home with some medicine.
The next day the doctor called and Carl's lover answered.“I’m going to need to run a few more tests”, the doctor said.“I’m going to need a semen, urine and a fecal sample.”
After the lover hung up, Carl Brizzi asked,“What did the doctor say?”
“He needs one of your Brizzi Briefs.”

Brizzi has put a target on his own back and dropped a few skidmarks into his briefs.

One evening Carl Brizzi, thinking it would be being funny, said to his lover, Tim Durham,“Perhaps we should start washing your clothes in Slim Fast. Maybe it would take a few inches off of your butt!”
This was an especially low blow as it is well know that Tim is addicted to plastic surgery and liposuction.
Durham was not amused, and decided that she simply couldn’t let such a comment go unrewarded.
They went to bed on the yacht without incident. Tim believes that revenge is a dish best served cold.
The next morning Brizzi took a pair of Briefs out of his drawer.“What the Hell is this?” he said to himself as a small dust cloud appeared when he shook them out.‘Timmy,’ he hollered into the bathroom to his lover,“Why did you put talcum powder in my underwear?”
Durham replied with a snicker,“It’s not talcum powder honey… it’s Miracle Grow!”
There was no miracle Brizzi did not fill his briefs with manhood, he did leave some fresh skid marks.
Durham made an appointment with the plastic surgeon.

From the IBJ,,, another skidmark:
Since he took office in 2003, Marion County Prosecutor Carl Brizzi has participated in more real estate deals than some full-time developers.
Records show he partnered in 2005 to develop a new Key Bank branch in Broad Ripple, and in 2008 he took an ownership interest in an office building in Elkhart that has the state as a major tenant.
He bought a 10-percent stake in downtown’s Harry & Izzy’s restaurant in 2007, flipped two condos in Broad Ripple’s Reserve development between 2004 and 2009, and joined local real estate heavyweights in an attempt to launch a $30 million vulture real estate fund in 2007.
Brizzi, 41, has come under fire in recent months for investing in public companies connected to his friend and largest donor, embattled businessman Tim Durham.
One such building is at 1659 Mishawaka St. in Elkhart, where the Department of Child Services agreed in July 2008 to lease 13,000 square feet for $19.12 per square foot, or $248,500, per year. It’s one of the highest per-square-foot rates for a state agency, and well above the $6-$10 range for available Elkhart office space listed on LoopNet. Other state agencies pay less for space in downtown Indianapolis.
“The prosecutor more than any other office has to have his financial dealings above board.”
Company you keep
Brizzi has managed to build his real estate portfolio without a lot of money or extensive assets. He earns $125,000 per year as prosecutor, and he’s still paying student loans. A divorce settlement filed in February shows Brizzi and his wife had three residences, each with first and second mortgages. He pays about $1,000 per month in child support for his four children.
The common thread in Brizzi’s deals, with the exception of Harry & Izzy’s, is a connection to Bales. The building at 49th and Pennsylvania is owned by a partnership led by Bales.
And while Brizzi turned to Bales for real estate advice, he may have turned to Durham for stock ideas. Brizzi invested in two Durham-affiliated firms—Red Rock Pictures Holdings Inc. and CLST Holdings Inc.—both of which have drawn recent scrutiny from federal investigators.
Brizzi also briefly served on the board of Akron, Ohio-based Fair Finance Co., a company the U.S. Attorney’s Office says operated as a Ponzi scheme. FBI agents on Nov. 24 raided Durham’s Indianapolis office and Fair’s headquarters.
a former private-practice partner of Brizzi’s who said he doesn’t know anything about the companies.
Let’s make a deal
In his most ambitious real estate undertaking, Brizzi in 2007 joined a group led by Bales and Venture in an attempt to raise $30 million to buy up distressed commercial and residential properties. But the effort, dubbed Venture Value Fund I, fizzled with just a few million dollars in commitments.
That same year, Brizzi took out a loan from Kansas City, Mo.-based Commerce Bank so he could buy the stake in Harry & Izzy’s, which now is worth between $100,000 and $250,000. Brizzi was one of five shareholders, along with Peyton Manning and the owners of St. Elmo Steak House.
Brizzi’s first deal as prosecutor came in 2004, when he borrowed $325,000 to buy two units in The Reserve in Broad Ripple, a condo project developed by Bales and several partners, including Steve Pittman and Barnes & Thornburg partner Ben Pecar.
The developers did not file sales disclosures for the units Brizzi bought, but loan documents show The National Bank of Indianapolis valued the condos at roughly $161,000 and $156,000. Brizzi sold one condo for $185,000 in 2006, landing a $24,000 profit. He sold the other in June 2009, but did not file a sales disclosure.
The investments don’t appear to violate local ethics guidelines, said Robert Wechsler, director of research for CityEthics.org in Jacksonville, Fla.
“If not an ethical issue, it could be an appearance and political issue,” Wechsler said.“It’s a matter of judgment.”•

I wonder if Carl Brizzi is going to invest in Jack Cottey's and Lincoln Plowman's Grand BINGO Hall at the site of the old Market Square Arena.
It will be a money making machine!!!!!
But it will be difficult to beat the deal he put on the backs of Indiana tax payers. Making them pay four times the going rate for rent in a depressed market was one sweet deal Brizzi. How did you pull it off?

Another skidmark in Brizzi's Briefs!!!
He is really starting to stink!

In this lawsuit the allegation is made that Durham's Fair Finance paid sales commissions. That is a huge no no as, if true, it voids the SEC exemption since none of Durham's sales reps are licensed/registered with FINRA/SEC
Also looks like John Doe being referred to is Carl Brizzi!

Judge denies Star motion to unseal search warrants in Durham case
By John Russell
A federal judge has denied a motion to unseal search warrants connected to an FBI raid of two businesses owned by Indianapolis business owner Timothy Durham, ruling that no search warrants were ever issued in the case.
The Indianapolis Star and the Akron Beacon Journal filed motions last month in U.S. District Courts in Ohio and Indiana, seeking to unseal warrants. Ten days earlier, the FBI had conducted highly visible raids of Fair Finance in Akron and Obsidian Enterprises in Indianapolis, confiscating several truckloads of documents.

Or does Carl (Boom Boom BoomBoom) Brizzi look like a little kid wearing his father’s clothes in on TV?
Rub some mud on that head and stick on a few twigs. Maybe you will fall below the radar.
