Man, first off, I do not want to see anyone lose their life, especially in a way like this guy did, BUT......

These crotch rocket guys need to take a lot more care then they do. HONESTLY, can anyone say without hesitation that everytime you see one or more of these bikes together, they are not driving EXTREMELY recklessly? Weaving in and out of traffic, popping wheelies, going way to fast.

I know car drivers are just as bad sometimes, but you have little or NO protection on these kinds of bikes. PLUS they can go a lot faster then any car.

I just see an attitude with the Ninja style bike riders that they think they are all professional motorcycle racers and think 465 is a autobahn.

Sorry to his family, maybe it will help others take a little bit more care.

It appears that the rider was at fault here, but summer is here and the bikes are going to be everywhere, so PLEASE watch for them. In a fight with a car, the biker ALWAYS loses.

And if you're a rider, stay focused and don't ride like an idiot.

Regarding Jeramy Padgett, and his fatal accident on Thursday. He was actually southbound on 465 when he hit the barrier wall whereupon the motorcycle continued south down 465 and Jeramy went over the barrier into Nothbound traffic and was hit by an oncoming car. No Fault of the Northbound driver. Jearamy's Stepfather.

More evidence to support why nurses refer to them as donorcycles.

People absolutely p!ss me off when they tell me to be aware of motorcycles. Like the guy said above, I've never seen anyone ride a crotchrocket and NOT drive it like a moron. I was stuck in traffic on I-70W recently and saw a guy on of them pull off on to the shoulder and drive about 75mph up the shoulder while the rest of us sat. If motorcyclists aren't going to take responsibility for their own lives, I'll be d@mned if I'm going to do it for them.

A typical Star report. Helmet? Drunk? Speeding? Lost control? Suzuki tank slap? Motorcycle endorsement? Oil on road?

What a looser newspaper.

I was stuck in accident traffic the other day, saw something similar...except I'm happy about it. I saw the two motorcyclists pulled over by one of the cops on the scene. That put a HUGE smile on my face.:)

you know what, the people that are sitting here blaming the people that ride crotchrockets you have no right. people that ride harleys, ride just as stupid. i had a guy blow by me on 465 yesterday doing 85 mph.on a harley. It doesn't matter what type of bike your on. they all crash just the same. this is a sad loss. Jeramy was a good guy and would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. we will miss you. and we will never forget all the summers sitting outside hanging out, playing cards til 3am, and all the good times we all had together. we'll really miss (the finger in the nose)we'll see ya when we get there..
