what! no outside search firm that IU pays $60,000 to, in search of their next coach! SHOCKING!! AD Dept. must be running low on funds these days.

I like it. Yeagley and Radford I have direct knowledge of and they are good people. Harry is a Hoosier through and through. Good luck men and bring us the real deal. Bennett, Miller, Izzo would be my choices, but we REALLY need you to make the right choice here.

You better take a look at the Pittsburgh coach. Talk about getting the most out of his players.

1 and done. Hope this committee makes a good hire and IU can move on. I agree with Dave, Scott Drew would be a great candidate.

Why is Rick Greenspan still around??? He hired Sampson - he knew he was risking IU's violation free image. He should go.

Please, please, please keep people like Benson and Kitchel (sp?) from providing input to the committee....I can't stand those two whiny b******s that think their support of IU basketball should be contingent on all hiring decisions matching up with their personal whims.

Why do Hoosier fans think that just because Steve Alford was a great player for IU, he would be a great Program Builder? We need a Program Builder, not just a coach. Yes, we need someone who knows how to teach basketball, but there's more to it than that. We need an ethical recruiter and a leader who can unite the Hoosier nation for once. FYI, Alford was ran out of Iowa just like Mike Davis was ran out of IU. In fact, Mike Davis' win-loss record was even better than Alford's. Further, Bob Knight will not come back to IU, so any glory day fans need to get over that. Most recruits today do not know of IU's tradition because it was too long ago. We need to take an outside look at our program and realize how much change is actually needed internally to return back to one of the top programs.

Keep Dakich, forget the search and let him do his job. He will clean house and get good College Basketball players who want an education and stay for 4 years. We should be tired of the McDonalds All-Americans that just want to show off for the NBA scouts. We don't need a high cost, high profile coach. We now have a good X's and O's coach now.

Scott Drew, Bruce Pearl, Tom Izzo...take your pick. These are my top three with Izzo as a long shot. I really like Drew, though. Young coach with a lot of energy

I hope that the University picks someone that has no back ground issues. They just don't need it.

Start by firing Greenspan! It's his fault IU is in the predicament it's in! He SHOULDN'T be on the search committee!
