95K is very good in this day. But I believe it takes at least 6 figures if you want to be comfortable.Linda i would ask what you consider to be a "high wage," and what career you've chosen, but I'm sure your response would be full of shit.

That average takes into account all of America...from fast food workers to CEOs. If your ambition is to simply be a little ahead of "average", then I am sure $95k seems like a lot. In reality, it is a pretty low wage amongst professionals and would likely afford you only a middle-class or lower-middle class lifesttyle.
This is why I question the person who suggests it is bragging. Bragging would at least suggest you claim a high wage that would put you into an upper-income category.
