Nothing better then a batch of rocky mountain oysters.

What you don't know is that brains, balls and feet are my favorite parts of a pig. Now what do you think? Do you want to know why? Because when my dad was growing up, they too were extremely poor. He ate the things you mentioned out of necessity, and made sure that I experienced it too. I do not waste anything from an animal still to this day.

My grandpa went to Canada and brought back moose on two different ocassions, which my mother ground and mixed with cheap ground beef to make meatloaves and spaghetti sauce from. We loved it - there were 5 of us to feed - so it helped her stretch her food dollars, because guess what? that's right, we weren't 'privileged'.

In my day, I've had rabbit, venison, elk, moose, squirrel, alligator, and raccoon. All very good.

Oh, and you really shouldn't be making fun of people that eat pig's feet, given the fact that it is much more common in the African American community, than anywhere else. Why do you suppose BBQ Heaven is the only place in town that sells BBQ Hocks?
Man you are a racist snob. You are full of yourself.

No you ass clown.....somebody was making fun of rednecks, and brought up the pigs feet. I only pointed out that black people are much more likely to eat them than rednecks. You see....your side kinda drew first blood. I was just making a correction. Hell yeah, I have eaten them! How do you think I know where to get them? My personal opinion is that you have never eaten anything but a boneless, skinless chicken breast. You have probably had to dial 9 to get an outside line your entire life. You aren't fooling me. Your idea of country is Broad Ripple Park.

Trust me. You're not half as impressed as your wife was when I showed her my Rabbit Meat.
She calls me jackhammer when we're alone together.
She also tells me we're both rather fast.

Hey put an add on craigslist, i live in vermillion county, and a lot of my friends sell fish to city people/ people who dont fish but love fresh fish to eat.. Im sure you could do a rabbit exchange. Will cost more if your wanting them skinned/ready to fry. I would try putting somwthing on there.

this is no joke. when i was growing up my dad and others would go rabbit and squirrel hunting during season. many a sunday get togather we had where fish, rabbit and squirrel were eaten. now these are considered more of a delicacy. then it was feeding a family. the railroad tracks was where you could "run" rabbits. i never knew why they said that.

Those are the kind of meals I remember the most as a kid. Usually "running" rabbits includes the use of a dog. I have never heard that term used for hunting without them.

Well, "country boy", I believe the correct term is "trot line". That mistake surprises me coming from someone so versed in the outdoors. I am also calling BS on all the houses you own in Brightwood. You must be some kind of man to handle the kick of a 12 ga.! That's impressive! My 110 lb wife can shoot skeet with one all day long, I just never realized that it made her a bad-ass!
