Do you agree that in general, the effects of alcohol are not as prone to causing violence as cocaine mixed with chemicals, like crack? Or what about meth?
Violence comes as a result of poverty and addiction. Cocaine is more addictive than alcohol, so it's fair to say that cocaine is more prone to causing violence than alcohol.

That being said, there are plenty of recreational users of both cocaine and alcohol. If a poor person get hooked on either one, then they may resort to violence in order to feed their addiction.

Can and does happen. Lies, stealing, disappearing, stealing the car, no license, unable to retain employment, lies to family, pawns things. One and on. Best lie you will ever hear from a crack addict is "I will pay you back, I will make this up to you".

I get you AA1, your against abortion until your kid gets knocked up. I ask, now what have you done for your country that you didn't get paid for. Out of all of your babbeling, I have yet to see one post from you that is any kind of a solution to the problems you wine about. You get all of your information from the media and that monitor you sit behind.
No, sorry, you don't get me at all. And if you think I have no answers, apparently you haven't read the posts from the majority on here. I have a solution to the teen violence problem. When they commit their first violent crime, using a firearm, at the age of 15, they go to jail, and one way, or another, they don't get out. About abortion, your assessment is probably pretty accurate in describing what I used feel. However, I have grown and changed, and you are wrong. I have never said anything about big government. That was an assumption on your part. And really? You want to challenge my patriotism, or love of country?

You forgot one other thing that causes violence..... Teenagers wanting income, or material things, without having a job. That being said, it is a pleasure discussing an issue with someone who is intelligent and level headed.

I have done plenty for my country, and community. The one thing that stands out as most beneficial to our nation, is not really doing something, but rather, doing nothing. What I am talking about is not receiving a dime of federal, or state assistance. I live in a house I can afford, and buy nothing beyond my means, instead of feeling that owning stuff I can't afford is my right, because it is unfair that some have more than me. If you think my posts are "slinging", you must not be reading them. I do not spend my time crying over the election, and that tells me that you are making assumptions regarding what I post, not reading what I post.

And one more thing....you are attacking me over my political views, on a thread that was about teenaged criminals. I don't think you have to be a conservative to see that there is something going badly wrong with some teenagers.

.....and the biggest economic driver that led us into this recession was the Democratic led congress, along with Harry Reid, and Barney Frank being in bed with Fannie and Freddie. When ACORN demanded that money be loaned to buy houses that people couldn't afford. There is plenty of blame to go around.

Thre are two kinds of loser teenagers. Parents who gives there kids everything and bail them out at every turn. Then, there are the forgotten teenagers that grow up on the street. Both have no real leadership in life. Both have respect issues.
We need leaders! Men to be more involved in there own kids lives. Mentors that are willing to come out of that comfort zone a little. Kids today do not respect others or fear God.

Oh, I think he's got the answer for the problem - there are no shortages of proper answers - it's just that the general public and our criminal justice system are a bunch of PUSSIE - lickers and don't wanna 'hurt their feewings' with some tough love like they need.
And you can't give them a post-secondary education while they stew in jail, because THEN they just become SMART CRIMINALS. eyeroll.

That can't be possible. I smoke mj every day, and I ain't violent. In fact, quite the opposite PLUS I earn a living, & pay my taxes and bills.

All drugs are not the same. A cocaine addict might rob Village Pantry if that's they only way that they can scrape together enough cash to get their next fix. Alcohol addicts have been known to get in bar fights as though doing so is a recreational activity.

The only things that I've heard of a marijuana smoker violating are a pillowcase or a refrigerator.

Ok, I never said that everybody that partakes in a particular activity is violent. I said, or what I meant to say, is that drugs are a factor in a significant amount of the crime. If individual #1 wants weed, but doesn't have money, and he is prone to being violent, he's going to steal individual #2's shoes, car, watch, phone, lunch money to get it. If you, or I smoke weed, or drink whiskey, and don't have any, or the money to buy it, we would just sit around and wish we did. On the other side of things, if someone is prone to violence, meth, or crack just adds potential to make them more violent.

Marijuana is against the law. You are a criminal. Do you smoke with your fellow co-workers from the hospital?

Your habit sure does explain the ignorant tone of the majority of your posts.

Plus, you gotta love the people b*tching about immigrants from Mexico, and in the same breath admit they smoke marijuana. Smuggling your marijuana is just as violent as smuggling cocaine. Just ask Brett Kimberlin.

But,you're special and unique. You're entitled to do as you please.

Frankly, you disingenuous and two-faced hilljacks need to stop pointing your dirty stubby little fingers at everyone.
