How is Obamacare different from Medicare? Both are socialized medicine.

Well, the boss explained that our profit margins in getting reimbursement from government subsidized plans just shrank by half. So nobodies getting raises, and they'll have to stop hiring to fill vacant positions, leaving the remainder to pick up the extra duties making our job harder and quality care a thing of the past. Many doctors are leaving practice or accepting cash only patients who are able to pay it out of pocket, leaving very young inexperienced doctors behind, and you'll be lucky to see an actual doctor, because the shortage will force pple to use Nurse Practitioners and Physicians Assistants.
In addition, the government will issue surveys to HC patients that if they are feeling petty that day because they had to pay for parking, they can indicate 'dissatisied' on it, and the hospital loses points with the new ACA cronies and lose status and reimbursements go even lower. IN other words, it sucks.

Just saying....

Oh, and if you doubt the truth of any of that, you can go to any registration clerk that works for IU that's been there longer than 2 years, and ask them. They'll verify that first sentence in my first post, because all 320 of us were sitting in the same room hearing it together 18 months ago. And we all had the same reaction: WTF??

The remainder of the post is opinions of coworkers whom have shared those items with me in conversations we've had in an effort to figure out just exactly WHO benefits from it....

Yes please come and see me. I will personally tell you Inyanna is lying. First of all just as an example we do not call all 320 people as was put into a room to talk about what is going to happen. Just does not happen that way. We have hired people since the 18 months ago this so called meeting took place. We actually have hired people in the past month. Again another lie.

About Doctors leaving. Anyone in the medical practice knows that Doctor's come and go all the time. We actually have a list of Doctors who have applied to set up residency here. Again another lie from Inyanna.

The Doctors who leave may have applied to another hospital in state or out of state in which they would have to be licensed to practice in that state. But most Doctors have contracts that have to be full filled before they can leave. In that case they would have to go before the board personally or in writing to be released from said contract. In which most that I know of are honored after a replacement Doctor has been found.

I don't know the numbers but the fast food Industries, along with Family Restaurants, Medical Device Suppliers, Local Governments and Public Colleges has been effected by ObamaCare.

Thousands of food service workers have been impacted by cutting ours to 30 hours or less.

Medical Device Suppliers have been laying off people because of the cost of ObamaCare and the new 2.3% tax.

Local government are making sure that their part-time workers do not exceed 30 hrs per week.
School have cut back some full-time to part-time.

Public Colleges have cut back on their employees.
Maricopa County Colleges Reduced hours of 700 adjunct faculty and 600 part-time workers below 30 per week, impacting 1300 employees.

When one congress woman state that they had to pass it and then see what it was in it, I new we were heading for trouble. The only thing I can say is I am glad I have medicare.

Obamacare will only be appealing to the lower 1%. Most of you who are middle and even lower class will be stretched very thin if you need to buy through the exchanges. Those who already have insurance will see premiums for comparable plans go up 15-40%. Much of the money is going directly to the governmental bureaucrats who are responsible for "administering" Obamacare.

As usual, a liberal policy will have little impact on the wealthy, will be crushing to the middle class, and will do very little to assist the poor other than keep them on the government's watchful eye. In case you are wondering about the poor, they already receive medical care regardless of whether or not they could afford it. They never have cared about the bills because they don't have any wealth. Everybody except the Obamacare administrators lose. Millions will lose their jobs, and hundreds of millions will lose money.

ObamaCare was our answer to HillaryCare in 1994. All of you liked the idea back in the day.

Each one of you supported George Bush's (Btw,George W Bush was the GREATEST President EVER) idea of the TSA back in the day,now you're whining that it's too invasive.

Why do you people hate America?

This post makes more sense than the Inyanna post. I highly doubt she works there. The one who said they lost there job after a short tirade probably did lose there job. But not from the ACA. Probably pearlofagirl and they probably fired her not doing her job she was complaining about. As for Truth aka Pathetic Justice, Ultimate Kaptoz,Hank, AllAmerican, Real Truth, Alfred, Bill, Duchess, Linda Bledsoe many others he/she poses as NO I am not IU Health.
