Beating up old ladies for $5.00 what a predator! Better charge him as an adult and give him the maximum sentence possible. If he does this at 16 and gets out at 21 as a juvenile he will have gotten away with murder! Show him and the rest of the community that this won't be tolerated and let it cost him all of his freedom and youth. Send this strong message. I bet alot of inmates have grandmothers and would be willing to help this young man learn the errors of his ways.

I bet that the feel good liberals will complain that this thug's life will be ruined if he is charged and convicted as an adult! Well, he permanently ruined the life of the woman who treated him with kindness and compassion. Whine all you want liberals, but society will be safer with him in jail for the next 30-40 years.

Beat an old lady to death for five dollars. What a shame he can't get the death penalty.

So happy I haven't seen any comments on here about how they feel sorry for this young soul and how he needs a second chance. It is a shame he will likely be out in 20 to 25. He should get life w/o parole.

Could be charge? I saw on the news that every bone in her face was broken. This is a no brainer. Give his name, show his face and charge him as an adult with murder. This was not a silly kid's prank. He needs help but not from the outside world.

I cannot understand why a young boy would want to beat a elderly woman in the first place....Makes me wonder if he had any grandparents...Not only has this young boy ruined his own life but has ruined it for many young boys that are looking for honest work in the summer mowing grass for the elderly...not to mention taking another life needlessly...I am thankful that the elderly woman was able to tell police who assaulted her..My thought is , if this young boy will kill for 5 dollars he doesn't deserve to be amung society ever again!! I am sure, like the other parents, who had children that have commited such horrible crimes ,will say that he was a 'good boy' and didn't mean to kill anyone...My sympathy goes out to the victims family and friends....

they just said on the news that Brizzi don't know if he will charge him as an adult or not. THAT is what is wrong with our system! if he is charged as a minor he willbe out at 21 and free to commit other crimes. we keep letting these people go! most of these hidious crimes are committed by reoffenders! it is time to take charge of our justice system. we need someone in our justice system that is not a candy ass and put their foot down when it comes to these criminals! i'm not saying lock them up and throw away the keys for the minor stuff but it is hard to find a job when you are a convicted felon. we need more programs out there to help them to get jobs and adjust to society so they wont be temted to reoffend! but if you are a danger to other people it is time to lock them up and throw away the key. too many babies and senior citizens are dying. living 85 years on this Earth just to die in a violent and painful way! that CHILD should be charged as an adult and they should throw away the key and it is time to take back our streets! we can do it! we vote these people in, we can vote them out!

COULD be facing murder charges???????? Hello, what does it take? I suppose they will slap this one on the wrist too since he said he was sorry. Yeah, he's sorry alright. A sorry excuse for a human being. The only thing he's sorry about is that he got caught. What a piece of $%&#. He doesn't deserve to breath the same air that we breath. BRING BACK CAPITAL PUNISHMENT!!! That is the ONLY solution in the rapidly increasing crime rate.

Society might be safer with him in prison BUT I don't want to take care of this monster for 40 years, how about you? My taxes take care of enough scum already. He doesn't even deserve to be in prison with a roof over his head, 3 meals a day, cable tv, free education, recreational time and whatever other luxuries that some hard working law abiding citizens don't even get to enjoy. Capital punishment is the ONLY answer!
