I say this crooked SOB should get a little bit of what he's been dishing out over the years. Can you imagine if it's confirmed that this guy has been throwing people out of their homes so his dirty buddies can come in and scoop up the houses at a bargain price?

You know, hypocrites are everywhere - church, law enforcement, schools, business. Nobody's perfect, but when you're the guy sitting up there, all high and mighty, passing judgment on everybody else... That's just B.A.D. Hang the SOB and everybody who associates with him.

I liked the last paragraph where this judge had been appointed by dimmwit obannon because the previous judge had been caught in misconduct also. Hehe it just keeps getting better.

I bet if it was one of us little people we'd be sitting in the jail house now.

This is just par for the course with Indiana Judges. Does anybody really think its any different in Marion County? Really? Do you think these guys are squeaky clean? Ask everybody you know to opine on the honesty and trustworthiness of lawyers around here. You'll get an earful. The Court appears to have broken down completely in at least one township in the County. On the east coast a prominent attorney is telling entertaining stories at cocktail parties about Indiana's Chief Justice, his sexuality, his wife, her interference in landmark cases, and basically making a laughing stock of Indiana's judicial system and judiciary. We have Judges that won't sentence felons to jail so the county won't have to pay their medical expenses. We have Judges that can't close drug motels, Judges that can't protect endangered children, Judges that scream at litigants, Judges that behave bizarrely in the Courtroom. Hey Judge Keele. The Eastside motel's still open. Hey Ricardo Rivera. Caught another one of your meltdowns on the bench. There's no oversight. There's no sanctions. The presiding Judge of the Superior Court will not criticize or discipline his Judges. The State Bar will not discipline or even investigate Judges. They are never fired or retired. And the press gives them a free ride. If attorneys dare to criticize the Chief Justice, he'll ruin them. Welcome to Indiana. Where our Judges are more corrupt than any of our legislators would dare to be. One of these days Matt Tully or Brendan O or AdvanceIndiana's going to do an expose on some of these Judges. At least the Delaware prosecutor has a pair. He wasn't afraid to open that box and have a look inside. It takes cahones to criticize a Judge. They're powerful. They're vindictive. And they abuse that power. Lawyers are scared of them. Prosecutors too.

Where are Armed and Famous' Eric Estrada and Wee Man when you need them.

Can you picture Estrada making the arrest while speaking through his clenched false teeth, "Ca-mon, old man. You're goin' to jail where you won't do nothin' but get screwed so don't bend over and pick up the soap!"

What a great show...

So far, he hasn't been charged with anything nor is there any evidence of malfeasance. He was an investor in this company, like many others, and until it is shown that he profited from it and intentionally acted in shady deals, he isn't guilty of anything.

Why are people too stupid to understand that an investigation doesn't mean that guilt is assigned or that charges are even involved?

Hey John leave "Dandy Randy's" sexuality out of this. He can't help it if he gets his swerve on in private. If his wife is Ok with it why not?

Wow...I wish we could all be as pure and correct as Mr. John Galt.

I've become inspired to be a better person just from reading his post.

C'mon judge, using language as screwed is not what the public would refer to as proper english from a person in your position. You might want to get out and let someone one of honest integrity on the bench.

Sounds like you have lost a few cases in front of these judges. Maybe you should accept some of the blame for your ineptness instead of blaming the judges.... and what is an "east coast prominent attorney?" Does that title carry some type of credibility?

Skip the investigation, the charges, and the trial, and let's convict him and sentence him based upon a newspaper article. God knows that the newspaper is always right. Maybe we need a constitutional amendment -- take out a trial by jury and substitute a trial by internet reporters and bloggers.

This is a funny statement because Judge Lennington put my 22 year old Ball State student, no record ever, no arrests ever, NOTHING ever , in jail for 90 days for not contacting a probabtion officer for a pre-probabtion investigation. Now the cell phone records indicate my son called the probation office 4 times the week before the sentencing and his public defender repeatedly told him you are not going to jail. He sits in jail right now after we had to withdraw him from this semester at the cost of 40% of the term. He went from his morning class to the sentencing and has been in jail since. No offer of home detention or whatever. He took a kid out of college and admitted why on paper. Because of a pre-sentence investigation. Makes no sense!

I am perfectly all right with Chief Justice Shepard being homosexual or closeted; right up until he decides to rule against gay issues in some hypocritical way that implies a denial. The problem with leading a secret life when you're the Chief Justice doesn't arise until you're voting on constitutional amendments banning gay marriage and such.
