It must be a thought provoking film when I bought HD-DVD in Singapore thinking genera of vasanth but it is lot more than it. Some day I feel I am not competent to critic’s vasanth and his legend! But after all he is mortal human. It starts with documentary style with vasanth using munniben’s (Kaplan Bhange) voice to narrate problems and prejudice faced by gay couples in social, job and economical front. Then slowly he changes gears and emerges problems of AIDS biologically more prevalent in gay families.Vasanth then touches Legal aspects of gay relationships focusing on inheritance, progeny, divorce, its validity, dowry and then Domestic Violence. It is a film on DV faced on Gay Partner but it is no absurd as PROVOKED. Provoked was a though prvokingcommerical film but showman vasanth has touched many aspects of gay relationship some of them are taboo n any society.Story based on real life gay couple in a tiny city of Satara-Vasanth Rokade (Principal without principal) and Unscrupu

MAHABHINSHKRAMAN by Lord Buddha. Both register there marriage at court and typical problems faced by conservative law officers are well shot. Story moves on from there at brisk pace with Panchagani-Mahabaleshvar backdrop. Couple celebrating formal honey moon, vasnath seducing patil and patil teasing vasanth—all seems so natural as if gay relationships way forward for Indian society. Comfort zones between vasanth and KVPatil is palpable even to viewers.KVPatil MA. LLB loses his honors as Bar Council revokes his court privileges after a fake DV case when vasanth was only one to solace him! Bar council Court Marshal at Delhi very well shot by camera man Dr. ashok Rokade(UK NHS) It is a bold attempt by Oscar Winner depicting plight of newly wed gay couple in tiny city of satara.Lead role played by Veteran Vasanth Rokade and her gay partner by KVPatil,MA.LLB truly inspiring. Marital split and pain of rediscovering one’s lost seuality very well captured by cameraman Ashok Rokade (NHS-UK) and deserves full marks. Scene where vasanth tries to seduce KVPatil by wearing pink pajama is truly an act of masterpiece and lesser known director would have made it vulgar but vasanth is in Top form This time. Background music by Dr KA Rokade is exceptional and blends well with theme of movie. Dream song when Vasanth ask KVPatil to buy a condom but he comes back with a Bin Liner is very symbolic in gay context (Not in Dada Kondake style). Hope Vasanth Rokade didn’t have much of fight with Indian censors but movie freely available on HD-DVD and Blue ray overseas. Another Oscar for vasanth? Yah Sure! But if a genuine victim turns up, she is turned away and made to run around from pillar to post just to tell her woes? After this experimental movie, vasanth da planning a movie on incestuous relationship based on true story of vamp vidya.
