Some people are actually arguing that it was hunted, but Hone posted more details on the reasoning on his blog.

Besides, I doubt it'll be easy to catch a flying animal.

A pterosaur once landed, takes some time to get airborne, the bigger... perhaps too long??

In fact there is not 100 % Predator/Scavenger. Even large successful hunters like Albertosaurus and Allosaurus would occasionally scavenge.

Velociraptor was also scavenger from time to time like every hunters.
