Melaka Tram to open to public in May 2012
Train maker, Mrails International Sdn Bhd expects its RM272 million Melaka Tram, the first natural gas vehicle powered tram in the world, to open to the public in May next year.

What the hell for ? Malaccan people already have their own vehicles backed up by existing public transport.
Just to make some crony contractors happy
the entire population of the city have to suffer the traffic disruption during track laying as well as the hazards & road congestion caused by this 19th century nonsense
