The rohingya problem already exist for a long time. Bangladesh, the neighbouring nation which was founded on the basis that their population is to a large majority moslem, doesnot want to do anything. The only thing they did was to allow UNHCR to solve the problem and still then they pressed UNHCR to kick the (repatriate they called it eufemistically) Rohingyas back into Myanmar. So, now all of a sudden Indonesia has found a cause to win some diplomatic credit. Better first to talk to their brethren in Bangladesh, rather then to their Asean friend in Myanmar.
