This will be fun watching the Liberal Party keep Asylum seekers out of Australia. When after all it's just a big side show performance trying to stop less than 10,000 thousand people a year while allowing 100,000+ legal immigrants into Australia purely to heat up the property markets in the Capital cities and allow banks to claim profits from exorbitant reaestate price rises due to the artificial scarcity induced by unnecessary legal immigration.

Recently the Government that's trying so hard to keep asylum seekers out of Australia allowed all sorts of agricultural goods dumped into Australia by counties with lower standards of food production standards or countries like the USA that provide massive subsidies to allow their Farmers to dump goods in Australia. While at the same time the USA tries to prevent Australia from ever going back to a single desk for wheat sales to assist Australian Farmers to compete in a very unfair market. Originally farmers were right to band together and resist the unfair trading tactics of larger economies like Europe and USA but the Howard Government destroyed the single wheat desk to please the USA.

If, we want to deal with Asylum seekers and all the various overseas born issues buffeting our country it can only be done by unity and unified action like the Single Wheat desk that successfully allowed Australian wheat to compete in an unfair market until the USA lackey Howard undermined it- only Unity can answer all these problems not Governments as shown when the Australian Government tries to prevent Asylum seekers entering from Indonesia.

The Howard LNP did stop the boats until Labor thought they could do better and now we are back to where we started all over again .

labor got voted in after the tampa and children overboard scandals on a promise to move to a more humane and fairer refugee/boatpeople policy - they had a mandate to try something different - butthen Murdoch desided on regime change and suddenly australia was being "flooded "with "illegals "

Do you remember how many trespassing illegal entries drowned to death on their way to Christmas Island ,how humane is that Tiny ?
The ALP and the Greens are responsible for their deaths, no one else .
Do you feel responsible for the deaths at sea Tiny ?
They could have flown straight in seeing they said they were fleeing persecution in their homelands .
Shame,shame,shame on you .

Don't forget KRudd's role during the recent Election Campaign, running to the previously accepting Indonesian Government in Jakarta, suddenly becaming antagonistic toward Abbott's "turn the boats back" policy. Not for the first time KRudd put short term political opportunism ahead of the wefare and interests of Australians.

Yes Howard bluffed them well but whether it's Labor's or Liberal's fault is irrelevant now. By all means let the Government try to stop the boats but its a trickle to legal immigration and probably not so harmful as Citizenship does not have to be sold off to cramm more people into congested Capital Cities and cause more unemployment where there's already excess labour supply available.

Sooner or later the money will run out to prop up the Australian Government's current response to both legal and illegal immigration. After the Government spends all the money your only left with a grass roots response orchestrated by the Australian people and that means uniting the people, or else poverty and anachy.

Your stupidity in allowing your emotions to get in the way of our reality where our health services and Legal Aid services are stretched to breaking point because of over zealous use by these trespassing peoples whereas it could be spent better on those of Australia borne of this land .

Funny how Labor wound back on their doctrine they spruiked in the Kevin 07 pantomime .
Funny how they plagerized parts of the previous governments agenda they campaigned so heavily against.

Seeing they can afford to fly to many other countries before they reach Indonesia and then they PAY someone BIG MONEY to smuggle them into Australian sight.

That money could have been better spent making their new life that much easier if they had flown in directly, so why don't they ?
Seeing they destroy their identification, what don't they want us to know about them ?

Haven't you yet worked out how to win elections .
Talk to the Greens, they know .
They said after this last election that they didn't have enough money (to pay off the press).

All the hundreds of bones swirling at the bottom of the sea on Gillards non-existent conscience, speak louder than all the anti Abbott sprouting slogans of fools. When Brandis decides to alter or pull out of the refugee convention the reffonomic flotsam will just have to swirl away somewhere else.

Don't watch then ABC TV for any facts on the boats. The ABC's proreffo bias is palpable. They are already claiming the "stop the boats" policy has failed so very short into maybe three terms of the Libs under Tony.I'd rather be under the rule of Tony than a reffonomic under the waves of Julia!

It is criminally insane that the Labor Party are attacking the LNP who did stop drownings at sea by boat peoples by stopping the boats .
