What was the presidents wife doing that her phone was being monitored.
She was being monitored for a reason.
Odd isn't it.
Was she moving the stolen billions around ?
Organizing the drug deals ?
Taking payment from the boat Smugglers.
Was she the go between in how the corrupt army & govt of indonesia organize their interests ?
-
You can rest assured that if her phone was being monitored it was because she was doing something deeply illegal & corrupt on behalf of the family & president & nepotistic corrupt elite.
-
And you its about time indonesia realised who was spying in them.
The USA!!! Australia was just the access the USA used. It was the USA who were directing the intelligence gathering. It was the NSA files that showed this - national security agency USA.
Is Indonesia to gutless to demand an explanation from the USA.. Yes.
Because the NSA might just reveal why the presidents wife was being spied on. And the Indonesian's might not like the truth revealed about their corrupt political leaders & family members. So the indonesians play the gutless game of attacking abbott (who wasn't even in govt when all this happened.. & where is Bob Car,Stephen smith, Kevin Rudd or Julia hey....).
No they attack Abbott knowing he can't answer because indonesia is to scared to state the obvious - the USA spied in them & the presidents wife - for good reasons.
What is the presidents wife doing that required this ??
Come clean indonesia..

CIA has been eavesdropping on all the important leaders in Indonesia for years. Now they admitting it. People can decide for themselves if they love or hate Americans.

I'm curious, an Indonesian poster recently stated that the people who bombed the Australian embassy in Jakarta we're Malaysian, is that correct as far as you are aware?

Also I'm curious why Muslim boat people would choose to come to Australia instead of your country, Malaysia is a developed Muslim nation right?

Really? How interesting!

Especially since certain undertakings to control people smuggling were entered into by Indonesia at its top levels. Even more so since Indonesia's Military have been observed escorting passengers to those boats. Are you telling us that proud Indonesia has no control over its Military?

It seems that the Indonesian government is indeed 'behind those leaky boats'..... ushering them on their way!!

These terrorists have one thing in common ie Islam. They can be from anywhere including Malaysia or Australia.
Why Muslims like Australia?
Good life I think.

They hate Americans ... so they blow up Australians.

As Malaysian operatives were involved in the Bali bombings, perhaps both Australia and Indonesia should be turning their hostilities upon Malaysia.

ok I wont exactly say that if Indonesia was in Australia shoes (being America and UK's lapdog), we wouldn't do or forced to do the same..

but the silver lining on this mess is that the Aussie govt can hand in incriminating evidences against our politician from its Cold War-esque spying activity to our independent corruption watch (KPK and other guys) for a generous concession.

Everybody wins, general consensus in Indonesia would ABSOLUTELY agree with this. We know from the relative silence and downplaying (no propaganda, no threats of war, no rallies like what we did without a single thought to Malaysia) from our govt part that they're terrified of this.

Then what are Indonesia's severing of ties regarding people smuggling and joint military exercises all about? Or hadn't you heard?

But there are plenty of Muslims in Indonesia to do dirty work like blowing up Westerners. Why would Indonesia need to import bombers from Malaysia? Unless Malaysians are more motivated and hateful toward Western tourists.

I guess who lets what slip through, and who turns a blind eye, depends on money in brown paper bags that pass from hand to hand under café table tops.

So Australia' sovereignty is dependent on what bribes are extorted by foreigners in Indonesia? What should Australians be thinking of an Indonesian government that condones that?
