i have travelled and lived in indonesia and it is a beautiful country with pleasant and nice people.i have read some utter nonsense and racist comments about indonesian being poor. like every country you have your poor, middle and rich.

i would like to ask the the arabs, if it was not for the white westerners working in the countries and running their economies would they not be still living in the desert and herd camels.

not all arabs are rich, i work in saudi and the average saudi is not better than if they were living in indonesia. but the factor of currency exchange makes them better off. though saudi themeselves are nice people. it is non arabs i like to call them from places like egpyt, seriya, lebonon, jordon etc are the cockroaches of racism.

the people in the GCC do not class these people as arab, neither do i.

If you people think those Indonesian maids have no morals, why would you still employ them? If you keep that to happen, I'm sorry, but that's your own problem. Why don't you just pay those poor western people to work as maids in your countries? I live with my Spanish husband here in Barcelona and we have a white maid coming twice a week. You Arab people should consider employing one of them, rather than saying rubbish about poor people from other countries. Stop complaining and do something different.
I'm a Filipino and Arabs also tend to look down towards us. Just like Indonesian maids, our maids also have bad reputation in middle-east. But it doesn't mean all Filipinos and Indonesians are the same. If you think that way, ask this question: Many terrorists are Arabs, but are ALL Arabs are terrorists? Do not generalize other races/nations if you don't want people to generalize yours. The problem with most Arab people are, they think they are the BEST race in the world, that others are only the second-class, and I just cannot stop wondering why... since Islam came to this region with the name of "EQUALITY", but the people just don't walk the talk. I'm not Moslem, but I believe your religion teaches you to treat people the same, but as a foreigner who traveled around middle east in the past years, I rarely I saw these.
