I'm an agnostic, but I'd like to imagine God up there scratching his head and saying 'But I GAVE them intelligence and reason above all the other animals, I can't understand why they're so DUMB?!'
Heh
You lack some intelligence, your staple of words are stupid and dumb. If they don't agree with your method of thinking there dumb and stupid stupid and dumb.

You have no "method of thinking." You're just as dumb and worthless as others have suggested you are. I hate to say Earthling's right about anything, but he's right about you.

God knows why they play dumb. He knows that ego is getting in the way of intelligence & that ego leads directly into self-righteousness.

Hey, if self-righteousness was good enough for Mao, Hitler, Stalin, all dictators, kings, business heads, leaders, just plain 'powerful' people, & anyone who wants to head-up a group, its good enough for everyone who fails to use science, mathematics & good thinking.

If God, thru science, tells you what's hap'ning & ya believe NOT, ya just got no science or mathematics background.
Its funny. It was Christians in the western world that showed how science & mathematics demonstrated the better ways to view the Universe. However, a goodly number of uneducated Christians, feeding at the hog troughs of energy, coal, oil, & business radio, TV & website media, now deny science..... & self-righteously use scripture in bizarre fashion to support money, suppression, & stupidity.

Exactly. The ever increased tax and governmental control global warming advocate politicians and their ilk demean "the middle ages" at every turn. They do this because they consider themselves to "moderns", and therefore, they feel themselves justified in rejecting the simplicity of ancient truth. The fact is, though, that the great leap forward of western civilization in the scientific sphere, a leap of which we are so justly proud, was made after Rome fell. That advance in scientific knowledge was made in an interim period between global ice ages.*(one of many recurring periods of "global cooling" - as one might put it)*

This advance of scientific thought was made by simple God fearing cloistered monks who gave thought to such matters. The Bible expounds upon the subject of weather. It tells of the effect of regular occurring cyclical global warming and cooling as it affects climate change better than I - I, a mere uneducated worm feeding at the side of hogs at their troughs:

"Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools," (Romans 1:22)

"And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things." (Romans 1:23)

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." (Hebrews 11:1)

"Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear." (Hebrews 11:3)

"By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith." (Hebrews 11:7)

"While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal." (2 Corinthians 4:18)

"And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bare up the ark, and it was lift up above the earth." (Genesis 7:17)

"And the waters prevailed, and were increased greatly upon the earth; and the ark went upon the face of the waters." (Genesis 7:18)

"And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that were under the whole heaven, were covered." (Genesis 7:19)

"Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered." (Genesis 7:20)

"And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man:" (Genesis 7:21)

"All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died." (Genesis 7:22)

"And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark." (Genesis 7:23)

"And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days." (Genesis 7:24)

Worthless, what is wortless is you and the dirtlings useless babble tainted with hate.Try again and make an effort to repond with your own work. Hay look at that the repsonder is required to think on its own and respond.

The contempt east coast politicians have for those residing in what they and their boring late night "comedian" pals call "flyover country" is well known. Except when they want to regularly shake-down this hard working God fearing people to pay to rebuild their crumbling old fashioned "brick and mortar" towns, or to rebuild ugly monuments to the dead, they give them little thought, and even less consideration.

Now comes Representative Ron Paul who says:

"...Sandy raises uncomfortable questions about the extent to which taxpayers should fund the cleanup and the extent to which government programs create moral hazards.

"For example, FEMA and the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) are expected to pick up the tab for much of the flood damage caused by the hurricane. Of course this will mean more federal debt and inflation for the rest of us, since the program only has about $4 billion to work with and is already $18 billion in debt from hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Many think there is a need for the government to provide flood insurance of this kind. After all, the market would never provide insurance in flood prone areas at an affordable price. But shouldn't that tell us something?

"Shouldn't that tell us that it is a losing proposition to insure homes in coastal areas and flood plains often threatened by severe and destructive weather patterns?"

The answer, of course, is yes. While the wealthy New York ruling class were wasting their time and hard earned taxpayer money conducting wars against soda pop drinkers,- including innocent little children - worker ("middle") class food eaters who season their foul tasting "obesity causing" Government engineered Frankinfood with salt, their wars against peaceful entrepreneurial upstate Indians who sell gasoline and tobacco products to White women and men for LESS!- along with their customers - and the hated toilet paper users, they were ignoring construction of coastal defenses to guard against cyclical storm related rising sea-waters that are KNOWN to periodically hit the area, bringing death and property destruction to low lying areas.

Arctic sea ice, either by satellite or submarine data, is above the 2007 and 2011 Arctic sea ice extent AND, a month later than 'normal', the sea ice average for the decades of 2000's, AND THE 1990's, at 8,107,031 km2 (November 5, 2012), the day's gain Kentucky-sized, with temperatures above the 80th parallel now at -19 degC. The sun has been unseen from the North Pole for 7 weeks, temperatures on landforms surrounding the Arctic Ocean, as low as -28 & -32degC! After the Arctic cold outbreak, which has added three plus feet of snow to the results of Hurricane Sandy, Arctic cold is once more building.

Arctic Ocean warmth is & will continue to keep Arctic sea ice thinner through the coming winter & even spring. As of October 2, Arctic sea ice VOLUME is ~23% lower than any satellite recorded year AND indications of submarine-detected Arctic sea ice yearly VOLUME.
Yes, the Arctic sea ice VOLUME is disappearing, year to year, quicker than the Arctic sea ice extent.
//////////
litesong continues
Presently, Arctic sea ice extent is above 2007 AND 2011, the average minimum Arctic sea ice extent for the 2000's, the 1990's, & now the 1980's, at 8,182,813 km2 (November 6, 2012), the day's gain smaller than S. Carolina. Indeed, Arctic Ice Pack area, tho colder than normal for 3 weeks, beginning a month ago, is lower than the years, 2007 & 2008. Present temperatures on landforms surrounding the Arctic Ocean, are way below freezing, numerous areas into minus teen digits. Many northern Canadian islands & Alaska have a mix of temperatures in the minus teens, with the lowest at -28 AND -33degC! Siberian temperatures are in the lower minus teens.

The vast open Arctic waters north of Siberia have been covered by Arctic Ice Pack. The huge sea ice floes that strongly developed in the vast clear waters north of Siberia(due to broad double digit minus Siberian temps spilled from North Pole's 7 weeks of darkness & vortex mixing breaking down stratified solar heated waters?), have done their job AND connected the Ice Pack to the entire Siberian coastline, truly a remarkable development!

However, Franz Joseph Land & Svalbard are still clear of the Ice Pack & so is the northern coast of Alaska!!!!!!

A detail noted 23 days ago is a raggy taggy developing edge along a part of the semi-circle, possibly NOT coincidental with the HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS (plus?) OF SQUARE KILOMETERS, of waters north of Alaska & Siberia that are VASTLY CLEAR. Might the raggy taggy edge indicate huge turbulence & currents in this largest(ever?) ice free, & resulting southerly-directed heat stratified Arctic waters? I wonder if there might develop more raggy taggy edging, enough to form a swirl pattern?
Twenty two days ago, noted near the raggy taggy ice pack, developed 3 tiny pixel ice floes(arced?), separated from the Arctic ice pack toward southerly directions. Twenty one days ago, the number of ice floes increased to 8 & indeed they formed an ARC. Pretty sure they represent a large scale vortex in open Arctic water!
Further data, show that the vortex is true!

Downwelling solar heats, in unusual clear Arctic Ocean & seas, normally sea ice covered in decades past, which have strongly transported extra solar energy to continental shelf, sea & Ocean depths for 4 months, is over. The sun is unseen anywhere above the 75th parallel, now shrouding the Arctic with darkness for a good portion of the year! Now, only Alaskan, far north European, & far western Russian southern Arctic seas get a skimming from the sun for a few hours a day, which is only single digit degrees off the horizon, at most!

You are right. Long before God created the man from the dust of the ground, both the Arctic and the Antarctic regions were tropical paradises.
