Hurricane Aggravated Romney's Stall, Didn't Cause It

In the aftermath of last week's presidential election, one narrative that has emerged in an attempt to explain Mitt Romney 's loss is that Hurricane Sandy halted the Republican candidate's momentum in the final week before the election. Full Story

It did give Obama a chance to look presidential.
Compared to George W. Bush during Hurricane Katrina.

But, is it possible that God interfered? God did not want
there to be a Mormon president so He sent Storm Sandy?

Whoa! What does that say about Romney and the
Mormon Church?

Did America just dodge a bullet?

Yes, God killed well over a hundred people, and destroyed thousands of homes in order to keep the Mormon out of office.

God's "collateral damage" I suppose, just like an armed drone strike in Pakistan.

You're as batty as they are.

Time to stop BS-ing!

Obama won ONLY because of the Hurricane.

The MATH is simple:

Obama wins by a little over 1%

Over 70% say Obama handled the storm well(of course the MSM buried all the mucho incompetance of FEMA)

A CBS Exit Poll shows over 40% day Obama's handling of the Storm affected their vote.

And the same poll showed that a wiopping 15% said that the Hurricane was the number 1 reason for voting for Obama.

No Hurricane, then Romney is President and the economic future of the US once again looks bright.

Did America dodge a bullet OR get hit by one???

It depends WHO sent that Hurricane---GOD, Satan or Mother Nature.

Also, remember Mitt never got a bounce out of the Republican Convention because of Hurricane Isaac.

Sandy had another effect. Turning attention from Benghazi and a sinister GOP plot.

What's going to be discovered is that the Petraeus scandal is just part of a bigger ultra-rich Repulican scheme that leads to Benghazi and a plot to overthrow the election of President Obama, just like Republican operatives plotted with Iran to delay release of hostages so as to effect re-election of Carter.

Ultra-rich right wingers also tried a similar plan to overthrow President FDR.

Our country has always been for sale to the ultra-rich, if not by high ranking influential individuals it is by the gullible and unsophisticated who roam among us daily.

Since the sinister Atwater type/Republican scheme failed to foil Obama re-election, Republicans probably need this whole thing to go away quickly before it hurts them more in 2014 and beyond, but now they can't un-ring the bell they rang.

And to think it almost succeeded. The scandal broke several days before November 6 election as planned but Obama was able to contain it until after election. Sheer genius on his part.

Notice the GOP beginning to back-off on Benghazi?

Wasn't the republicant mantra "ROmney's momomentum" that didn't seem to work?

ROmney lost on many levels and the Hurricane was only part of it. The republicants should do some serious inward thinking and realize their candidate was flawed on many levels.

rugby's 'momemtum' was based on flawed numbers from gallup. They turned out to be the worst of the pollers. An average error of over 7.

can't they just admit that the better man with the better policies appealing to the broader base of Americans won?

You are partially right, Gallup had Romney up 4 or 5 points.

BUT, BUT, BUT after Hurricane Sandy hit, Gallup went off-line for a few days and when they came back they had it dead even! They did pick up the Hurrican's effect.

God spoke this election cycle and he said "Shame on you Romney and you phony Christians!". He wanted the man who worked to help the needy and the poor as President.

The President won by over 100 Electoral votes. There's no way a hurricane alone is responsible for such a huge margin of victory.

President Obama is smarter, tougher, and a better team builder than Mitt Romney. The best man won.

Period.

The hurricane was merely an expression of divine wrath - it was God's will that Romney not be elected. Seriously! The religious Right said so!

"After a partial recount Sunday in St. Lucie County, West trailed Murphy by 1,907 votes, or 0.57 percent, across the Martin-St. Lucie-northern Palm Beach district. West lost 132 votes and his Democratic Jupiter opponent dropped 667 with the re-tally of early ballots from Nov. 1 through 3,"

This is scary----Allen West gained OVER 500 votes in a recount that covered 3 days of early voting in ONLY one county. Al Gore got a recount, time to give a REAL black man a fair shake.

This is a re-post: I think it is important to get this out in the open, ie it is not just Republicans who are looking at the impact of the Hurricane.

http://nation.foxnews.com/hurricane-sandy/201...

In Michael Moore's post, he thanked a number of people who helped make the president’s re-election possible, especially “Mother Nature.”

“You, Mother Nature, with all your horrific damage, death and destruction you caused last week, you became, ironically, the undoing of a Party that didn’t believe in you or your climate changing powers,”

http://nation.foxnews.com/chris-matthews/2012...

Chris Matthews

“I’m so glad we had that storm last week.‘Cause I think the storm was one of those things. No. Politically, I should say. Not in terms of hurting people. The storm brought in possibilities for good politics.”
----------
Boy, if looks could kill---did you feel the rage in Rachel Maddow when Matthews let the cat out of the bag. ha ha She was steamed!!
