Just what do you suggest our Congress do? You seem to be so hell bent on it, what are your suggestions? You go on and on and donít provide any real substance. You start first but Iíll wager you have not much to add to the discourse other than some talking point about Republicans shouldíve passed the bill that was saddled with pet projects not related to Sandy victim relief. Still, it really is an issue not related to Canada. This is internal and calling the US Congress a joke is condescending.

And further, it was you that started the disrespect, nobody else (post #3). You wonít admit to that come hell or high water.

That said, in a later post (#25 above) JJFADS/Root complains that his feelings are hurt because he was spoken to in (as he claims) a hurtful way.
Sheesh!
I hope you can find love in your heart one day.

Your Congress is acting like children.
In my opinion, that qualifies as a joke.
That applies to more than just the Sandy relief bill.

What are my suggestions?

Here's one for you.....a start...
Think about the first step in the cure for alcoholism.
The first step to sobriety is to admit you've got a problem.
If you can't admit there's a problem there, then there's no point in me showing anything more to a blind person.

To JJFADS/Root:

Re my interest in US politics...

On more than a few occasions, you've taken some really cheap and tacky shots at Canada and Canadians.(not to mention to me as well)
I asked you to stop on occasion, suggesting that you shouldn't do that.
On those occasions, you routinely insisted on your "right" to say what you want.
Must I remind you of the same?

Stop calling me Root.

With regard to your comment. Are you stating that since things were said at one point, itís now ok for you to conduct yourself in the same manner? Is that your logic?

Let me get this straight. I come to you with open arms. Ask repeatedly for you to stop this behavior. Even offer you an olive branch and you still keep going? Why?

JJFADS/Root---Let's get this straight---I honestly believe you have a problem.
There's a huge difference between what you're preaching here, and much of your past behaviour.
Professionals would call it an Attitude-Behaviour Gap.
There have been many times where we've witnessed you posting stuff that's been really mean and nasty---far worse than anything I've said here to you and others today.
Yet here you are, claiming insult and injury over what amounts to some lighthearted opinion and mild repartee which pales by comparison compared to many of your postings.
We can only assume you're intentions are either (a) Just stirring the pot for fun; or (b) You're having a schitzophrenic meltdown.
Either way, it's silly to continue pointing fingers at yours truly, when there's so much worse conduct being displayed herein by others.
Keep it up if you so choose, or more sensibly "shut 'er down" if common sense prevails.
Regardless, I can assure you there are a lot more serious issues in these forums to get all humpybacked about than this one.
Meanwhile. I will continue to speak to issues of interest to me, and will do so in the manner I choose to---that will depend on what I receive from others--including you.
