I am teacher and enjoyed reading the article. Reading how the students and teacher connect their curriculum to real life situations speak volumes.
Keep up the great work.

This must be Montserrat, I realized, when I read the summary on the ASCD Briefs this morning. I am pleased that the Brownsburg teachers were able to make such an exciting lesson from what has been a source of great sorrow to us and our friends from the island. We were there twice in the years before Hurricane Hugo, representing Oswego County (NY) in Partners of the Americas. We have continued friendships developed there.
