Mother Nature has a way and it makes no difference to her when she wants to claim what rightfully belongs to her.

I have property in Del Rio, I sold it several years back. The lake was beautiful, always been. But when I sold my property, Lake Amistad was very low, almost dried up. It was along the side of the lake. So my property looked 5 times biggest than it was. This was because the lake had receded and the water line was several 100 feet lower.

15 years I had that property and the water level was getting lower, lower, and lower.

Now I would like to see it. I can imagen that even Pecos River about 40 miles from Lake Amistad has water. This place was a heaven for boaters. The last time I when, you could walk across the river.

For those of you who haven't seen this brigde, it a must. beautiful when the river was high. I am sure it is high.

I believe it is the Tallest Brigde in Texas at least 80 to 100 feet above the water and a 1/4 mile wide between to rock canyons. Really beautiful.

I hope the best to all the people!

We were just in Del Rio, since my husband is from there. The lake looks beautiful and I can't recall seeing that much water before as it was almost dried up the last time were there. As you stood there taking in the sight, water seemed endless in all directions! God it was a beautiful sight!
