This is so sad. 2 1/2 and someone (babysitter/nanny?) didn't keep an eye on him? Was the hot tub covered? In use by others? More details are needed...

From reports it sounds like it could have been a nanny or babysitter in charge of the boy. Tragic nonetheless.

If it was a NANNY, it was one that was paid under the table. You get what you pay for.

We need no more details. All we need to know is that a little angel returned home. This is a deep family matter. All we need to know is that this family needs support and prayers.

This is tragic, no doubt about it. When are people going to realize that our children are a gift from god? They should at no time be left unattended when near water. My thoughts do go out to you and your family.

That is such a shame. Prayers for the Cunningham family, not because he played football, and for the Vikes, but because as a dad, I can only imagine what he and his family are experiencing. What a tragedy. Accidents happen and this is a sad one.

I can only wonder why a man who devoted his life to being a christian and to God had this tragedy happen to him? You would think that God would watch over him and his loved ones, yet something like this happens. Keep believing in God because he is an AWESOME god, right? He watches over and protects those who follow him, right? Explain this one. Explain the 3 year old children who get cancer...Keep the faith bible-thumpers...coincedence is a powerful thing.
God works in mysterious ways. Its not for us to judge I am more then sure god has bigger plans for him. God Bless that little guy
