Be patient, help is coming. The people of haiti will receive the same help they received the pass years during hurricane season. We are almost 2008 and you all wonder why the people would want Jean Claude back? Your comments are so right regarding JC, lets take a second to recall haiti during JC and lets look at today. How has haiti changed for its people or it land? Everyone has agreed that it would be wrong for the people of haiti to welcome JC back, but! how wrong is it to know that million$ and million$ have be spent the pass 21 years to improve haiti and know that parents and children are sleeping tonight on tin roofs tonight, knowing they will never see a dime of the money or get any help. One very good question was asked; Even if JC did come back, what could he do for the people now? What are they doing for the people now 21 years later? Maybe all they have left to remember during JC, is how clean and functional haiti was. Perhaps that alone is enough to welcome him back. As everyone states that JC ruined haiti and left with millions, Does the amount that JC left with surpass what has been spent in haiti the pass 21 years? Instead of trying to recoperate money from JC 21 years later, why not ask; what has happened to the money of the pass 21 years?

How do you evacuate over 8 million people?

Because that's what we need. We're SCREWED!

The answer is not to evacuate 8 million people its, help clean up water ways that are blocked by years of garbage, sand, branches and so on as we have seen in St. Marc last year. Use some of the money to help org. such as the red cross, so that they can help people in re-mote areas after such a disaster, instead of using it on flags, palace decoration and usless monuments. With the millions wasted the pass 21 years, they could have used some of it to purchase machinery that would un-block so many water ways leading into the ocean. The problem is not the land slides, its that there is no were for it to pass. People have been saying this for years and every year the same thing. After last year flood in St.Marc, why is the same thing happening this year? Haiti has had water disasters for years, with the water trenches being cleaned before, we never heard of such disasters. Don't evacuate the people, make sure that every village has a clean trenche for the water to pass.

Its so sad and so sad, misinformed of the reality of what happened under duvalier's regime, people like you still take some truths as covers trying to make other people who used to be (museau nan bouche)swallow that pill again.(The impossible dream that feed the voids?...!!!
