Actually, the way Topix has stuff set up, threads will show up in multiple different forums at once. While you may be seeing this as a Haiti thread, it's also listed under Homeopathy and probably under Alternative Medicine as well.
Having said that, I agree with your analysis that ipk is wasting everyone's time.
Nuggin,
I am sure that you are correct and I can admit one thing. I had never heard the word "homeopathy" before this site came along even though I was aware of there being fraudulent elixirs and "holistic" practices advertised prolifically. I had mistakenly assumed that most people were intelligent enough to overlook them.

I see now that they have been "legitimized" with a high sounding name. It is the same old fraud.

Yours and Mark's posts have opened my eyes and ears.

Just yesterday, I heard an commercial for an over-the-counter copy of a popular prescription medicine for just $19.95. The word "homeopathic" remedy was subtly used in the commercial. Later I heard yet another similar commercial and in the fast talking disclaimer the word "placebo" jumped out as if it were a legitimate explanation for its credibility. I guess that disclaimer was designed to keep them from being sued.

It is sad that Topix has intermingled posts in such a way that since March 26, 2010, when a person innocently signs in with interest in the plight of the Haitians, he can suddenly be flooded with free commercials for junk science, because the subject "Homeopathy preys on the desperate" is always kept alive by the regular circuitous banter. I suspect that this is purposely done by the "homeo" perpetrators.

I can only believe that the high sounding promoters of "homeopathy" on this site must be justifying their own fraudulent practices against some innocent people somewhere. They simply can't be spending this much effort on a hobby.

Sad, but termites are reality.

ikz,
This is a HAITI forum that should be far from a discussion about homeopathy, but apparently has morphed into a forum dominated by some using Haitian devoted bandwidth to promote their own egos. Do you really think people are really reading the details of your pompous expositions?
The name of the site is HAITI-TOPIX, not "Let me impress you about false "science-juice" that I have been using since I was a baby and my father sold it to innocent people until he was 88 years old and now I am doing the same thing and making a fortune."
If you think you have been studying "science" since you were 16 years old,(are you 17 yet?) you should ask for your money back. You have been duped and you are trying to dupe whomever will listen to your crap. I have a science and math degree and a business degree and it doesn't take much of any of that to know that "homeopathy" is fraud -- plain and simple. To try to sell it to the impoverished and desperate Haitians is criminal.
Since you had advice for me, here is some for you. You should spend less time on this HAITI SITE blowing smoke about your "higher intelligence" and "science" knowledge because you have been "reincarnated" and go worship a bull or a beetle or something.
As far as the data you think you are passing along to the world, look up the word "circumlocutory" if you know what a dictionary is.
You are just taking up space here.
After taking a degree in science (what area?), maths and business you consider yourself an expert to offer advice on the homeopathic system! Are the 2 related? In the University you forgot to learn the basic tenet: before you open your mouth you should know the subject or have first hand practical knowledge. You have neither.

First take a course on the functioning of the human body or homeopathy and then you MAY get some knowledge to comment.

Please read what a REAL doctor writes about modern medical medicines (chemicals):

" The sub-atomic world does not conform to linear mathematical laws being followed by medical researchers. It is time we changed to the new science of non-linearity to get better results in medical research.

Modern medicine, in its present form, was accepted as a science in the European Universities in the twelfth century. Ever since that time medicine has been riding piggyback on natural sciences. The latter depend on linear mathematics. All that science does is to make mathematical models of the happenings of this universe to explain them and then hope the formulae, thus derived, would work in real life situations. This happens very rarely in reality. Mathematical formulae are accurate in themselves, but when applied to the dynamic universe they go wrong. This is the bane of modern medical science and research."

This doctor has studied science and medicine, has a long experience of teaching, research and treating patients. He outright rejects the present chemical theory for treating the complex human body.

But with your limited knowledge you are a bigger expert!

If you could understand this thought, there is more. You could read:

www.kma.org.kw/KMJ/Issues/dec2002/where%20is ....

The field of medical science is larger than a degree in science, maths and business put together and so is the philosophy of reincarnation and form worship.

There is a lot to be learnt yet about happenings around us and the action route of homeopathic medicines is one of these.
