Lucky for the UN, I do not live in Haiti. I would be chucking my cholera infected poop at their faces. Don't worry, I would be well armed as well just in case they decided to make the first move. Diplomatic immunity my a$$!

Fall 2011 brought another outbreak of cholera, but in an unexpected region: the very south-west mountain peninsula (of Haiti), inland from Pestel near Jeremy. An American physician who has volunteered MONTHS every year for over 30 years contact the UN, with warning and a cry for help. Medications, equipment, water filters to prevent further spreading, and health-teams to go into the mountains to teach the population how to stay safe. The UN (and others) assured him "there is no cholera in that region" while the dead and dying were at this physician's feet. Our mini not-for-profit organization helped with what little we could: providing filters and special buckets, spending $6000 where the UN could have done so with a flick of the wrist. What we ( OneBigBoost.org ) did was right - but it shouldn't have had to be that way!!!
Shame on you, UN! But that includes others as well...
Applause to you, Dr. Carroll, and many others, who stick with it and continue to do great things for mankind. I really DO believe in the principle of the UN and have great admiration for what seems to be the only mega organization where all are supposed to reach out equally. My belief in their actions is dented time and time again, to say the least, but I am hoping that the principle on which is was founded will, eventually prevail. If there is no hope not much else is left.
