We really need Hanna to spin up into a major hurricane and drain the reservior of thermal energy around the Bahamma's on it's trek up north.

If it doesn't then IKE will spin up to a CAT-5 as it comes through.. Then we will really be sorry.. and homeless...

The weather anchor hounds JUST love this! They love to get their mugs in front of a camera and scare the bejesus out of people and send them scrambling to the grocery stores to strip the shelves while creating long lines. During Fay did I see the people stocking up on non perishable items, bread, TP, etc.? No, these people were stocking up on stuff that would not last too long without power.

Yes, areas of FL do flood but you should have did your homework before you bought in a flood district or along the water. Also, don't ever buy property that can flood with a septic tank. Buy in an area with a lot of drainage, buried utilities, city/county sewer and water, and not low lying or poorly planned areas.

BTW, us FL people are way smarter than Nagin's chocolate people that wouldn't listen during Katrina!
