We must do something to help this desperate country. I know things are tight in the US, but these are human beings just like us. We must get food and security to this country.

I have traveled to Haiti several times and know the deperation first hand. In fact I was supposed to go to Haiti tomorrow but am unable to because it is not safe. These are beautiful people who are only hungry.

We must as a humane country tell the story of the Haitian people and help them.

I cannot understand how the U.N. "peacekeepers" came to the descision to fire rubber bullets at the crowd instead of simply feeding them...we throw away more food than the entire island could consume in a year..daily....

It's very sad to see how people are still leaving the the 21st century; what's worst it's not only Haiti.
