Thank you Alex. As I read this tears jus rolled down my face because I know that I am in a position to help and feel that I can't fully. I am in the medical field and right now I am trying to gain as much experience as I can. Don't misunderstand me I am not financially capable but with my training should be able treat some of the illnesses. Medication is so expensive and I do not have the contact to get it at a cheap cost. I do not know how to go about getting medication to treat the illness that I would encounter. I can't volunteer because I have so much bill that I have to work and my employer will not permit me to come and go as I please. If you have any suggestions of companies that are willing to give a salary I would be most willing. I would also like to volunteer during my vacation time which is very limited with this new position I have. In any event I would like to help as much as I can. Again thanks for helping my brothers and sisters.

I understand your empathy and there are endless numbers of groups that you could connect with to volunteer time and energy. It is impossible to sit back if your really are desiring to put yourself to work on your vacation time. The rewards of being available and giving will be endless. I hope you seriously look into a pathway to use yourself for great things.

My dear AYA! As Lori indicated; there are endless groups in haiti that would love to have you help, if you want my advise! I would get my finances in order before even thinking of helping others. Then and only then, can you fully give yourself to the mission you were called for. Then; look into medical missions in haiti that seems to be doing good work. Talk to people that have been to those missions (many leave theire email address) so that they can answer any questions you may have. Keep in mind! that most medical mission groups cannot give a salary! they try in all ways possible to use the funds to help the needy. Even in govertment possition, a doctor would have problems getting over $1000 dollars a month(which is not much compare to our doctors). As you mentioned medication? there are some great NGO groups out there (Non Govermental Org.) that help medical clinics, doctors, ect..with free medication, also! many of the medical missions have visiting teams that bring as much medical goods as possible on theire visit.. Do not give up your dreams, just get them in order. Start with helping yourself get your finances in order, find a variety of medical missions in haiti, talk and get as much experience as possible from others in mission sites or even in here. Get to know the NGO groups and missions that help in supplying free medical aid in haiti. Then ask God! is this what he wants you to do and if the answer in your heart is yes! "Go for it"! and God bless you for becoming another member of our family to help haiti.
