I completely agree our country is in just as bad of shape with the hurricanes we need to help our own first and not worry about what goes on there or anywhere else for that matter that's why our country is in the shape its in now.

Helping other countries is good PR plus there's the added benefit of "getting something outta the deal"

Helping your own just costs money and you get no recognition for that!

WAKE UP!!

do you really believe our country is in as bad of shape as haiti? have you ever been to a third world country? they eat clay to survive. besides, our government attempted to rescue and send aid to katrina victims....they were shot at by spoiled americans used to living on our system. we are a blessed nation.

How can some of you people be so heartless!
When Katrina hit, there were people down there on vacation. Some of those rotten ba____ ds drove by children and families that were begging for rides because they had no way out. People in their SUV's with personal belongings couldn't care less. Material things were more important than a human life.
That is how Americans think about and treat their own. There are people starving in Haiti. We should help them. It would be no skin off of our backs.

thes is spelled these, contries is spelled countries, detroyed is spelled destroyed, alwasy is spelled always, invoving is spelled involving. You get a "F". You should really go back to school. stupid.
