Full story: South Florida Sun-Sentinel

While millions of Haitians go hungry, containers full of food are stacking up in the nation's ports because of government red tape - leaving tons of beans, rice and other staples to rot under a sweltering sun ...

If it were possible, I would reprint this entire article in Hatian-Creole, French, Spanish and English (thousands of reprints) and would drop them from small airplanes all over the island, especially around the port areas. I would hope the starving of Haiti would have enough energy left to storm the ports and take the food that is rightfully theirs. It has been donated or paid for and is sitting in THEIR ports for months rotting. It is their's for the taking. While they are at it, a bit of Haitian justice towards those who rape the system by demanding "fees" to let items pass through the ports all the while lining their own pockets. You know, the people using the port/customs system for their own gain while others outside the system die of starvation.
If the UN and or the USA had any sense of justice or compassion for the people of Haiti, they would take control of the ports and get the food and humanitarian goods through customs and to the people. But, unfortunately, we don't. We are a nation not of morals, as we used to be, but of political correctness that has been eleveated to such a god like stature that we view being politically correct to be the standard. To hell with what is right and the fact that people are starving due to a very few people abusing tha customs system, our goverments won't do a damn thing against the law of political correctness. I wish the entire world would grow sick of this foolishness and wake up.
I've been to Haiti a number of times and have seen this so called customs system at work. If you want anything to go through, you better have a fat wallet. Then, if you have any money left, you had better pray no one in the system there knows about it as you will be cheated, robbed, beaten or even killed due to the money you have left. The wild west in the mid to late 1800's in the history of the United States was tame compared to whats going on in Haiti.
HEY UN AND UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND ANY OTHER COUNTRY OR ORGANIZATION THAT CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE. DO YOU CARE ABOUT THIS SITUATION AND THE STARVING PEOPLE OF HAITI? OR WOULD YOU RATHER BE POLITICALLY CORRECT. YOU BE THE JUDGE. BUT REMEMBER, YOU WILL BE JUDGED BY WHAT YOU DECIDE OR DON'T DECIDE TO DO BY HISTORY, THE STARVING OF HAITI AND BY GOD! GET BUSY!!!

PS-
only 1 post in the comments section since this article was made available over 12 hours ago. Amazing!!! I wonder what a statue of the god of 'political correctness' looks like ? Must be scarey if it can keep an entire nation/world system from doing what is right for others who are so opressed they can't do for themselves.

Hungry Haiti. It looks like in the Ukraine (USSR). In 1932-33 yy. 1:1. Humanitary administrative catastrophe. 100% 1:1.

Anyone thinking about sending aid to Haiti should go back through some OLD discussions first. Who is going to be in control there? Don't presume you know the answers. There is some history there.

Daily Horoscope for May 22

Pisces

Things are not always what they seem today, so be careful. Someone might appear to be completely honest but turn out later to have been fooling you in some way. Or a situation may seem quite clear-cut right now but forthcoming events will reveal that things are very different under the surface. So be wary about who and what you believe, and don't let anyone push you into making important decisions today because they may not be in your best interests.
