By my calculations, France owes Haiti about US$ 50 Billion. Extortion paraded under the French forced indemnity of 1825. If slavery is/was wrong then forcing Haiti to pay for France's loss of slave value is also wrong. France needs to recompense Haiti for this unsubstantiated charge.
