City donating 2 surplus fire engines to Haiti
The city will donate two surplus fire engines to a Haitian city that had its public safety equipment destroyed during the January 2010 earthquake.

By my calculations, France owes Haiti about US$ 50 Billion. Extortion paraded under the French forced indemnity of 1825. If slavery is/was wrong then forcing Haiti to pay for France's loss of slave value is also wrong. France needs to recompense Haiti for this unsubstantiated charge.
