THANK YOU! For many years we have been collecting donations of new and gently used soaps, shampoos, lotions, etc from hotel customers, transporting them to Haiti and handing them out. I applaud this organization for doing this on a grand scale! Not only does this benefit those who have very little but it also keeps the waste out of our landfills! Thank you so much for caring about the nation of Haiti. I am a part time missionary to Haiti. I live in California. It is very difficult to get the church here to help the children and people of
Haiti. I am so glad they are getting some help. We throw away so much that would be beneficial to the Haitian people. They would be extremely happy to get the things we take for granted. It hurt my heart that they sometimes go without food for 4 or more days. Living here in California I have such trouble trying to send soap food or anything to the people of Haiti. I am going to contact the hotels here and get in touch with them and see if they want to help. I haven't been able to get the church to lift a finger since my first visit in 2006. I have nothing but praise for the Cleantheworld organization who are helping the undervalued who need soap and hope all over the world. They have so many other basic needs that are taken for granted. I have been to many 3rd world countries in Asiaand Africa. People every where want and need to be clean. My hat and heart goes our to Cleantheworld organization.
