If they killed a couple with their kids they deserve to go to jail. Don't be stupid murder is still murder you have to draw the line. When should they be prosecuted? At 10 killed...20.. or maybe 30. That is a horrible crime and they should pay. You must have a moral leg to stand on if you are going to criticise others.

I can't believe it you defend your homeland against uniformed and un-uniformed Cetnik militia's and you end up on trial for defending your home. I wish someone would drop a nuclear bomb on this communist lead Balkan region. It's all a sick joke.

They would've killed the Croats if they had the chance it was just because we got to them first it is considered wrong. How many families are killed in IRAQ at least a 100n every day do you see any americans on trial for murder, I don't think so-it is always us Croats who constantly have to suffer. F**K everybody else how many Croat families were brutilised by Cetniks I don't se any cetniks on trial. Our gov. is a joke an anybody who supports this current gov. is a bigger joke. We are the only nation on earth who sends people to court for defending their homeland. It seeems it would've been better off just packing up and heading to Germany in 1991. At least no on would've been killed or sent to the hague. Anyway where are you from in Croatia are you from Istria by any chance?

No i am from Slavonija and Dalmatia. Balkan's have a bad reputation because of this kind of talk. Answer me several questions then figure out the conclusion for yourself.

1) Do you consider Croatian's more educated and civilized than the Serbs?
2) What nations around the world do you consider civilized?
3) Do those nations condone murder of civilians? Do they justify it in any way?

We must hold ourselves on a higher standard than those we judge.

You haven't answered my question on U.S generals being court marshalled for killing of civilians in Iraq. Isn't the U.S suppose to lead by example?

LOL you want to judge the rest of the world by the US standard. " When in Rome...". And yes US is court marshaling for murder and rape however the generals aren't ordering the murders. Not that we know anyway.

Leave Serbs alone!!!! If he did half the Balkans would be in war as Serbs try and creat a greater Serbia. Don't be stupid. When in 10 years Serbia has an antiquated military and Croatia has one of the best in the Balkans what should the worls do if we decide to take back "old Croatia".

Man i hate stupid people.

General Ante Gotovina never ordered murder and rape and still he is charged for crimes against the Serbian people. Why are the U.S Generals any different. All you people speak of is harmony and peace and equality but when it comes to the Gotovina issue"oh that is something different all together". How different is he to another other General in the world.

Your mentality seems a lot like that of our easterly neighbors. We MUST NOT fail to expunge this balkan mentality that turks brought with them.

I don't know enough to say any more than i did already. There are many injustices in the world and hero's come in many forms. Let us not pretend to know everything it is a faulty mentality that can only cause problems.

one of my colegues was captured (a dutch national) you will find films of his interigation on U-Tube, in the interigation he admits to firring on serb civilians, (this is a very doubtful statment and one made under duress, like wise the statment that they let him out for a Kava and has all the cigerrets he wants) any way he was never released, his body was found in a hole, The croatian goverment does not seem to be willing to persue war crime investigation as to how he came to be in that hole, so I have to side with the view that lets sort out the crimes against the Croatian people defending their homeland and then we can discuss the others.

I've read both your posts, well written,
Thanks.
God bless your collegue.

In WWI Aussie soldiers fought in Turkey where their enemy wrote a tribute to the fallen.
Although different circumstances, it is fitting for your collegue nevertheless.

you, the mothers, who sent their sons from faraway countries wipe away your tears; your sons are now lying in our bosom and are in peace.

After having lost their lives on this land. They have become our sons as well."
