There's so much to know about roofing! What do you say about shingles? What will last the longest in harsh rains and heat? Thanks for any feedback.

From what I've seen, there's so many materials that roofers use. It really takes a lot of work for what roofers do each day! We've been having our roof restored, and we're excited to finally have a dry roof when it rains without any leaks!

My company is building a new warehouse, and we need to decide what to use for the roof. I like everything you said about metal roofing, especially that it is energy efficient. I think that metal is the ideal material in this situation.

It is crazy how many different types of roofing there are when building a home. I think that it is a great option using metal roofing considering how durable it is compared to other materials. It is also easy to replace and maintenance when you have to make a repair to your roof.

It would be great for me to find more about roofing repairs like how much does it cost to get a leak fixed. I need to make sure that I have enough money for the roof. It would be nice to not have a bucket for the water during the rainstorms. http://www.tsimpsonroofing.ca/

Depending on the job you want to do on your roof you might need different tools. So it is necessary to know what you want to do and search for the tools you need afterwards. If you don't know what your doing you'll want to hire a contractor.

Does anyone know how much schooling a commercial roofer needs to start legally working? I am trying to do a project on roofing jobs and the average schooling needed to start working. I think it would be really fun to work as a commercial roofer, so I picked this job to write about.

I have been looking into getting my roof repaired after we had a pretty bad storm last week. We have been wanting to get our roof looked at for a few months anyway. We have a professional coming to our house in a few days and hopefully we can figure out what our best option is going to be. I want to get the roof redone, but we'll see what the pro has to say.

Last night there was a big storm in my area, and it damaged some of the shingles on my roof. I can fix the roof by myself, but I need to get some shingles to do it. I want to get good shingles, so next time there is a storm my roof won't be damaged. http://www.onitroofing.ca/products.html

I have a barn I've been working on with my sons for the past couple of weeks. I think we're finally ready to put a roof on it. We just don't want to do it ourselves, because we would rather not have to worry about the measurement. It would also probably look better if we had a roofing contractor do it for us. http://www.whalleysfourseasonsroofing.ca/

Is it feasible to put commercial roofing materials on a residential home? I would like to know the costs of roofing materials used commercially vs those used in a residential area, as it seems there might be some cost savings there. I've been looking at a lot of roofing materials lately to determine which I might like to use in the future. http://www.allamericanroofing.com/Commercial....

The building that I work at has been having a lot of problems with it's roof. We have had many leaks and are concerned at it's integrity. I have called a roofing company to have them come to take a look at it for me and I think we will need many repairs. Hopefully we can get everything copacetic because we have lots of valuable equipment in the building.

Thanks for all the recommendations. I didn't realize that my roof was leaking until I went into the attic a few days ago. There's a pretty decent-sized puddle up there, so I guess the roof has been having problems for awhile now. Hopefully I can get everything sorted out before it rains again. http://www.jessresidentialroofing.com/copy-of...

I think you're right about making sure that you get on top of your roof repairs before winter comes. I like your perpective on replacing your roof. While it does cost a little bit more than regular repairs, it could end up being worth it. It seems smart to me to get a roof inspection so you can find out if there are enough repairs that need to be made to warrant an entire roof replacement. http://www.amickroofing.com/about.asp
