They need to legalize it just like liquor, they would, but they can't devize a good way to tax it, package it and to fix the levels a THC and Z-fact.
It's an all natural herb...it helps cancer patients with nausea and those dealing with eating disorders...I see nothing wrong with the Cannabis. It, like liquor or beer should not be taken or used while driving or operating heavy eguipment, but it does not damage the brain like some say, nor does it cause someone that uses it to start using other drugs...that's bull.

I have heard it all before and disagree.

Whatever we think it is ILLEGAL now and these people deserve to be in jail.

lets tell the truth now.Legalizing would cost the pharmacutical companies billions of dollars, they make a pill for everything. We all know that if yo0u trace issues back far enough it always comes down to cold hard cash! You ever notice when government has a poll on this issue they never have it on marijuana alone like the people ask for. They always tie it in wth extremely harder drugs never it by itself? But thats the government of the people for the people, you know all us poor citizens that have MILLIONS of dollars to play with when we decide to run for office to help everyone,"THEIRSELVES "Of the people my ass!

So it doesn't bother you a bit that it is ILLEGAL, and you can go to JAIL for just possessing it?

This is the kind of human trash that needs to be locked up for the rest of their miserable lives.

I dont smoke marijuana and I think it is rediculous that pot is illegal. I would rather have a neighbor who is high all the time than a drunk neighbor. I would rather have a stoned driver near me on the road than a drunk driver. And I would rather we dont waste millions of dollars every year housing inmates on marijuana charges. I dont think people should smoke pot and then drive. But it should be no ones business what folks do with their own plants on their own property and what they do with their own body. Marijuana is a great pain killer, and has lots of other positive uses. If it were legal, I would rather ease my pain with a legal herbal remedy, than some un-natural pill. Legalization or at least de-criminalization of pot would be a good thing.

I totally agree, I'd say 90% of us smoke and no one wants to admit it. If their gonna tests the Greenup Co. jailers and deputies they should maybe start with the judges and cops first!!!!!

I worked narcotics for years and I agree it should be legalized. I never arrested anyone for getting high and beating their wife or worked a death investigation for someone smoking too much and overdosing. And the excuse of it being a " gateway drug " is just that, an excuse. We have A LOT bigger issues to deal with in this area. People would not believe the amount of tax dollars spent on housing inmates for possesion charges. The gov wants to call this a drug war. My problem with that is every war I have ever heard of ends at some point. This won't. It's time to worry about the serious issues. The hard drugs. Not plants. Just my opinion.

With respect to your experience with this problem, some of us would like more of your input: As a member of law enforcement, if it were up to you to develop an action plan to tackle the narcotics problem, what would it be? Where would you start, besides legalizing marijuana?

And, if citizens were going to lobby for change in the way things are handled, what issues do we need to address first?

If you were really what you say you are a disgrace to the profession of law enforcement. Perhaps this is why you are an EX detective. Even if you don't use drugs, if you support dope headed trash you are no better than dope headed trash yourself.

Daily Horoscope for December 23

Aquarius

Someone is being bombastic and overbearing, and you don't like it. You aren't prepared to take their behavior lying down, but standing up to them is likely to result in a rip-roaring row. Well, it seems that the row is almost inevitable, and perhaps that's just as well because it won't do you any good to swallow your anger or tolerate this person's boorishness for much longer.
