with a red sofa in the living room what color can i paint the wall in the back of the sofa, i have black and white also.

Am I using to much brown.

I have just purchased a couch and chair from Ashely Prairieview which is kind of a light brown.(Durapella) My walls are a mocha brown. My floor is laminate (medium golden color) my furniture is wood. I am thinking of purchasing a dark brown leather recliner. Should the recliner be leather and dark brown. Do I need to paint my walls another color. Room doesn't get a lot of light. Lamps are a yellow golden color.

DO you have knowledge in interior design? Take a course even if it is a short one then decide which part of the business do you want to go into soft furnishings which is curtains, upholstery, linens etc or hard furnshings where you can work with the architect from the word go or even just renovations.

I recommend adding some cool splashes of color in some cool teal, aqua, sage green, or light blue. YOu can do this by adding some wall art, pillows, plants, blanket throws, rugs, and window treatments. I have a similar situation, and this is my strategy. I have found that my favorite color with my browns is a light blueish green. The best color sort of depends on the style (modern, western, traditional) of the things you already have...Just something to think about.:-)

I have golden victorian furniture i my office with maroon tapestry and carpet. I want to change the colour of the tapestry and carpet. what color will be most suitable for the upholstry , tapestry and carpet? Peach , Light Crimson or some other color

A tan wall would look great..or grey would be another option. If your sofa is plan red you could also do a design on the wall to imitate a smiple wall paper or apply wall paper. Valerie c
