So let me understand this: does it mean that like myself, who has owned our home for 20 plus years, that we are also eligible for the credit?

Do I qualify for the $6,500 credit if the lender held a promissory note dated 12/23/04, the transfer tax was paid on 12/28/04 but the deed of trust was recorded on 01/04/05?

Daily Horoscope for January 3

Taurus

The steadier you are now, the better: this is not the time to throw caution to the wind and be exceptionally attentive to details. If anything, labour the point and you'll find in a few days' time that you are really glad you did. Friends will be able to give your morale a big boost at the moment, if you're in need of support. Team relationships and efforts work tremendously well at the moment. Why fly solo if you don't need to?
