So let me understand this: does it mean that like myself, who has owned our home for 20 plus years, that we are also eligible for the credit?

Do I qualify for the $6,500 credit if the lender held a promissory note dated 12/23/04, the transfer tax was paid on 12/28/04 but the deed of trust was recorded on 01/04/05?
