while you are correct that the was pressure to loan money to anyone, at that time you still had to be qualified and you only got what you could pay.
the ghettos are not the only areas affected by the foreclosure crisis.
the 80-20 loans
the interest only loans
the no documentation loans
all were created by the "i wanna live outside my means" people. these are the people typical who bought the mcmansions and had no furniture in them. there are plenty of SUBURBAN foreclosures in northeast ohio. check all the county websites.
Actually, I have an 80-20 on one of my properties and I'm doing rather well with it. Of course, they locked all my rates in on a fixed term. That was my request or else they weren't getting my business. I'm on a fixed rate no matter what happens.

Go to Sheriff Alexanders website and check the foreclosure lists, GHETTO properties. I do BPO's for the banks, 90% are GHETTO properties.
Thanks Mr. Clinton for the sub prime GHETTO crisis.

Quote;
"We didn't have troubles like this before Bush and DiKKK Chainy."

Once again, Clinton started this whole "give a loan to those that have no job, no credit, no money, and (in many cases) no S.S. number" mess back in the late 90's.
