Are these idiots crazy? Why in God's name should the taxpayers pay anything for a teacher to buy a house in the city? More waste of taxpayer's money for the bloated school employees that we don't have. What is next on their agenda, help pay for the city trash collectors to buy an city house? These fools in office should be taken out and beaten to even think that the taxpayers should pay one cent for programs like these. And they wonder why the city/county/state and federal goverment are broke, idiots.

Isn't eight hours a day in a danger zone enough for RCSD employees?

I think the real problem is finding qualified city people for any job weather it's cleaning bathrooms at Burger King or teaching Liberty Pole Kids in the RCSD.
The key word is qualified

RCSD teachers are WAY OVERPAID as it is, they should be making half of what they're getting. Something like 5% of students emerge ready to enter college, the rest go onto some crappy job or worse, why are we paying these people $80k+ outlandish benefits and retirements - for what? We could get the same results paying teachers $40k * reasonable benefits. Urbanski and the teachers union suckered the idiot school board and the city parents promising to turn their kids all into doctors, lawyers, and whatnot, when they should have been teaching most of them a trade or something useful. When will any of these people admit that not every kid is college material? I mean jeesh, lets get real here.
