Oakley forgives home loan for city manager
Oakley's city manager won't have to repay the balance on a $620,000 loan the city gave him six years ago to buy a house.

Are you kidding me. Lets see, they don't do anything about short sale scams of people who have friends buy the home and still live there now this crap. I am at the point where I might seek to sue the city for they are not taking care of the people that are making payments and paying our taxes. Most of us are stuck with a high 6 low 7 in similar homes and would die just for the crap percent the city gave to this guy.

its easy to give money when it is not yours to begin with and you know more is coming in. if you have a rental in oakley they will charge you 100.00 yearly for having a business in the city. they can't tell you where that money is going but whe now know where.
