Update at Eagle Creek.

The foreclosures are now rampant. The only problem now is that the foreclosed properties still have the people living in them. They do not seem to be willing to take care of thier homes. The homes have weeds for lawns. Also, we are starting to see rentals in the area, it is getting quite ghetto. You can take the family out of the hood, but you can't take the hood out of the family.

There are a lot parents who do not watch their kids and every word out of thier mouth is Mother Fu#$er. Sad place to live right now. Not sure if we can recover.

Green Ridge in Waterman is a slum in progress. many homes are foreclosed on, and most of the inhabitants actually think they are better than the rest of the town. I love seeing this subdivision failing. Bulldoze the entire place and set a match to it. ALL of the homes are build shaddily, and are already falling apart. Congrats to the village for allowing such a mess into a good community....MORONS.

Townie,Watch your mouth!Kennedy homes and their homeowners are no different than any other product/buyer in that price range. The homes are bigger because,(I dont think I would get an arguement from even new buyers)some people do not want to live in Waterman,Coal City,Bradley,Maple Park,Machensey Park,Hebron.......Most of these areas were carved out of corn fields.SO WHAT!If you want to live there thats your business!I am a union member who helped build these homes for 5 years and they are no different than any other product in that price range in these various communities. Some have plastic water lines as per VILLAGE CODE.Plastic is cheaper than copper.Obviously the various villages have no problem with it or it would not be OK.That is just an example.(Plumbers take it easy).I also did warranty/service work for years in these homes and worked on @did service/warranty work on the North Shore in homes that cost 15million @up.Things go wrong ,#%$^happens.I dont suck and I dont due crappy work. But that is just me.I TAKE PRIDE IN MY WORK AND WAS NOT RAISED BY MY PARENTS TO BE A SHISTER!I RESENT YOUR BLANKET STATEMENTS AGAINST HONEST PEOPLE JUST TRYING TO MAKE A LIVING !
Wow, this worker was a schister---look at the crap these subdivisions have turned into, and how crime has gone up because of them coming into the areas. What a joke they are, and the people that built them. Quality, the damn things are falling apart from the LACK of quality. LIAR.I'm glad you lost your job, you deserved it. Schister.

I just found out that my roof was never completed and I live in the model! It's been incomplete since 2001 with a missing vent so there is a hole still there, vents not nailed down, and general slack in workmanship.
