If you want to think that way, then we should also castrate men who are dead beat dads.

Happily married working mom.

<quoted text>Why in the world are you blaming woman? It takes 2 to have a child or have you forgotten? To claim a woman should close her legs, is disgusting never mind its the man who jumps on in. How many father's walk away after bearing a child or don't pay child support? It's the woman who has to pick up the pieces.
Give all the woman out there some credit. We work full-time jobs and are day never ends. When we go home it goes into overtime: cooking, cleaning, laundry, paying bills, shopping and I forgot spending quality time with our children.
You left out two factors to your theory: woman work because they enjoy it, and the average family needs two incomes to survive.....
give woman credit?
how many here, right now would trade a life of office stress, for folding laundry and making quick e-z(womans day lingo) dinners, watching oprah, socializing on the cell phone and at the mall, shopping and watching retarded tv, like lifetime.
except for the puke inducing tv shows. id do it in a heartbeat. and..yeah ive done it before. its not hard. get over yourselves.

Why not cut off the d***s of men who just want to have a good time and walk away from kids they can't afford. It goes both ways. BTW SDingle mom here who put herself through school, and took care of her kids without assistance after their loser father was unable/unwilling to do so. They are now grown with families and self sufficient. Have a great day!

I Think we are all one or two paychecks away from being homeless.. I work and i am on vacation next week and i don't even have a dime spending money and have 2 kids.. between the high gas prices past and present.... it did a number on our wallets....

between food and gas and just living the prices have tripled

its all catching up with all of us and we are BROKE and most people don't have parents we can move in with... that would be nice but we don't and even if we do they don't have the room for a family..........

Get over yourself, what is this suppose to mean? I barely have have time to watch TV and I wouldn't want to stay home all day, to boring for me. I am a product of my mother's raising, a woman who worked until she took her last dying breathe. She always said its better to work, leave your problems at home and your laundry will be there when you return.

Why do woman go to college or have any kind of training, to watch OPRAH all day, I don't think so. Most of us enjoy our jobs. I think I hear a little envy, you see we can do multiple jobs; its called multi-tasking and though it can be stressful at times, the rewards are passed on by generations. We wouldn't be successful if it wasn't for our mothers.(a woman) It rubs me the wrong way to hear such digraceful talk about woman or to point out failure at them because they choose to have children without thinking on how much money was in their wallet. As for stress who doesn't have it, you can be stressed driving in traffic thats life.

Maybe we should have a poll on how many people hate their job, and why?

Have a Great Day!

I understand how you feel not many of us can afford a nice vacation these days. Keeping a roof over our heads is now the priority. As for our children it bothers us more that we can't give them what we want. I am sure just to be home for a weeks makes them happy. There are some free or cheap things we can do with them if we have no money: local lakes, library, hiking, or even a sleep over with their friends. Although as parents we feel so guilty it will teach them how to deal with tough times.

Hopefully, the economy will get better, but we need understanding and to help each other get through this difficult time.

If he was a loser, then you had no business having not one, but TWO kids with him. when are woman gonna learn that babies can not save a marriage thats allready on the rocks.how many "oops" babies are out there walking around because selfish mamas thought that they could save their marriage by "accidentally" getting pregnant.

If you have a third kid on welfare from an 'unknown" father, you should be fixed like a dog. Lets face it, if you can't get it down to two, your a slut. If you have three ilegitimate kids by three different woman and don't pay child support, you should be fixed like a dog.Obviously your genes are contaminating the gene pool.

Clip the guys who have more than one kid by more than one mother. I am all for it.

Also welfare really needs to crack down on these deadbeat dads so I don't have to keep supporting their kids and my own.

Thats friggen funny. Maybe he wasn't a loser at the beginning. OK? Like I would decide to have TWO children with someone I knew couldn"t handle the responsibility. Who said I had children to save my marriage? U totally missed my point.

My heart goes out to Nicole and her children. I completely understand her situation. My husband unfortunetly lost his job at the age of 53, he worked for this company for 20 years and he didnt get a severance package so we had to reply on his unemployment check...huh thats a joke. We "were" financialy stable" at one time. We are about to loose our home now as his unemployment will run out in a couple of weeks. I also lost my job within the medical field due to medical reasons.( I can no longer work) We went without health insurance for months. We struggle to put food on the table and try to pay all the bills that come with everyday living. We have exhausted all of our savings to keep up with bills. It isnt easy out there, people need all the help that they can get in times like this. We have worked many years and have contributed our share...Nicole ...keep your chin up girl....you deserve all the help you can get from anyone or anywhere!!! Take care of those precious children that God has blessed you with. My blessings are with you.

Don't listen to that nonsense. You don't have to defend yourself. We can't predict the future or understand the difficult circumstances that may come after marriage or any relationship.

Your a wonderful example on how woman pick up the pieces and do everything we can to protect our children. Your children witnessed and lived what you sacraficed for them, this is why they do well today.

Good for you!!!

In reality its none of your business why anyone has children. All your reply's cast stones at every female out there, even the ones that, "Work". You sarcasm is noticeable towards mother's, so I am assuming your are calling their children loosers too..

Maybe you should spend the day with an advocate for domestic violence, the homeless, or even a little league coach, therefore you wouldn't be so quick to judge.
