I don't see the problem with a business woman providing a service. Why aren't the men who used her sevices being prosecuted and their names dragged thru the mud? It is acceptable for them to cheat on their wives, deceive the public, and get away with breaking the law. It is a shame.

I totally agree ,she MAY have provided the "Service" but they too broke the law .If you ask me it seems odd ,but eh we are dealing with "Washington" here . I just hope she can Rest in Peace now ... |

It is very strange. Women's suicide of choice is usually overdosing and just going to sleep. It is not common for a woman to hang herself. How do I know this? I sat in on a jury trial where a woman was found hanging and they charged and convicted her boyfriend of murder. The suicide "experts" were very compelling. I also find it strange that she would kill herself where her elderly mother could find her body. I would think she would check into a motel and do the deed, if she wanted to do it. Anyway, in this case, prostitution wasn't a victimless crime. It took the life of this woman, whether by her hand or someone else's. Sad.

I'm not sure if I totally buy the suicide angle.
She knew she was a dead woman walking. Perhaps she wanted her death to be on her terms, but hanging isn't the usual MO for a female suicide. While I don't morally agree with the "service" that was provided, I can't help but wonder who was on the list and if revealing that information would have given us a much needed "enema of the state". |

A 55 year sentence is ridiculous. If you kill someone, you get less time. So, for mail fraud and racketeering she was looking at a lifetime? Unreal. I see where our legislature's priorities are at with the law. Lets house inmates that commit crimes involving money over violent offenders.

No No - Sounds like you could use a bit of "servicing" right now. You hypocrite.

Honestly I don't think she killed herself. This is Washington were talking about. She knew WAY TOO MUCH. Just put it together.

I thought the same thing ! |
Hey, I don't care for hookers. They are the scum of the earth. Bad things happen around them. If you like hookers, thats your business. You can protect hookers all you want. I don't blame you for that. It is your choice. But she is still a loser. |

I hope that the police conduct a complete investgation and the coroner does an autopsy. Her death seems suspicious given the notoriety surrounding this case. It seems to me that she tangled with some very powerful people - politicians and businessmen - and that it is conceivable that someone wanted her silenced.

Wasn't one of Christs beloved friends a former hooker.Spare us the "scum of the earth" line.Palfrey is gone and I'll say a prayer for her.I'll leave the judging to you.I'm also not convinced that she took her own life.

If she was offed, um.... why did they wait until AFTER the trial. That doesn't make sense. I think some people have been watching a wee bit too much TV

Hung herself. Bet you she had a lot of help. Someone to hold her down someone to put the nylon (rope) around her neck someone to put her on the box that same someone to kick the box.
NO NO the Lady is NOT a loser. Supply and Demand is the American way. There was a Demand and she Supplied. |

No No - After your last post I am even more convinced you need a bit of "special attention" - soon!
|
|
I thought we established with Clinton that none of that mattered as long as you do a good job. |
|
Why are you so interested in me? You like guys? You want to give me some of that special attention? I love first meets, so sexy and exiting. Are you man enough for a man? Just don't tell Tony. |
|
|
No No - You are some kind of wierd. Why would you assume I was a man - wishful thinking perhaps? Did a hooker (your word) roll you and take your wallet, or were you in love with one and she left you for someone more "exciting?" Maybe you called her a scum bag one time too many. By the way, you don't sound like anybody I would be interested in.

She was expecting a slap on the wrist by the judge perhaps because of all the names that hadn't yet been made public. After sentencing nothing to loose and no reason to keep quiet. You really should put you thinking cap on before you dis others. |
