A terrible ending to a supreme court judge career.did she really intend on getting away with it unnoticed? Very foolish!

She retired on the 21st, presumably with full pension.
She keeps the $700,000 Florida home used for the fraud.
She escapes all other actions including civil actions.
All the accomplices are guaranteed no action to be brought against them.
Sentencing is five months away in May when public sentiment is reduced. She may be able to buy herself out of jail time by negotiating further in the meantime.
I'd say she did pretty well, much unlike her severe penalties to others from the benches over the years.

The only things that could change in this agreement would be in favor of the former judge. The plea allows reductions, but not any increases in jail time. She may be able to pay her way out of all or a portion of the jail time. She has a great attorney working on this aspect.
